They listened to my concerns about the symptoms of my vehicle’s transmission and exhaust and other mechanical problems and was able to diagnose and offer a fix/ resolution. Their entire staff: Nomie, Umair, Diego, Khurram & Saqib provided peace of mind and excellent auto repair. Nomie is well known within the car community and is known as an incredible mechanical engineer. I drove more than 1.5 hours in traffic and it was well worth it. Nomie fixed my problematic transmission driveshaft issue and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. Also repaired an exhaust issue. After he repaired everything, my car drove much smoother and more efficiently and is back to great health. They’re able to order parts and have a quick turn around time as well as have fair pricing. “The best auto shop in the area! Freddy & Johnson were SO great to work with. The insurance gave them a hard time and delayed the process a bit but they were patient and came through and got the job done & delivered perfectly. My car looks like nothing ever happened to it! They are so kind, responsive, and great at what they do! They always kept me up to date during the process and they even washed my car inside & out before I picked it up. It was spotless! “I followed too close to a semi truck with snow on top of the trailer and a hard patch of ice hit the plastic vent type of piece on the front of my grill. Putting a small crack in the vent piece and cracked one of the sensors. I called Sherman dodge in Skokie and they referred me to Oakton Auto Body.
From the first conversation to completion they were fantastic. I was able to bring my vehicle in , they inspected the damage immediately and ordered what I needed. I put a down payment and was called once the part came in to perform the repair. Costumer service was superb. Exactly what I needed in that moment. I was also elated with the cost. “We have brought our cars to Phil at Automotive Body & Tire for the past 13 years with only good results and good advice. The saying is that "out of fast, cheap and good" you can only get two. But you can get all three here. Phil and his staff are experts. Thorough, honest and efficient. They won't try to upsell you and they don't make up un-needed repairs. When I've needed to leave my car there for service and I need a ride, they offer me one. Phil has even sent his guys over to my house to jump my car once and another time to fish my keys out when I locked them in the car. He didn't charge me for either time (I made them cookies and am writing this review.) This is a good outfit.”
