“Keep in mind this is a wholesale shop so it's a great place to stock up on larger quantities of items (like going to sams or Costco) just in a smaller store. There are some smaller things like pies and some Chinese food items, that just isn't the majority of the store. Good place to stock up on different colored napkins and plates for parties, too!”
“Unbelievably great experience love the small town helpfulness all the employees truthfully care not only did they set aside a product that I called about my little boy broke a jar of pickles on accident, and I would’ve gladly cleaned it and paid for it, but they were adamant about cleaning it and selves, and not having me worry about it I don’t care how much it costs the service is better than anywhere around.”
“It honestly isn't any different than any other grocery store I've ever been to. Although the prices do seem higher than I was expecting. I don't think they pay a sales tax but there are definitely better deals to be had elsewhere in town. Maybe if you live on base it's a good deal to not have to drive out on town instead”
“I go to Schnucks a couple times a month to the CVS to pick up prescriptions. The Schnucks employees are always helpful when I ask where things are at as I don't normally shop at Schnucks except my distilled water for my CPAP machine. The store is always clean as are the bathrooms”
“I miss the way Rural used to be. They have moved everything around. A lot of their staple items are missing. I mean, they still have a large selection, but I feel like it Big is changing for the worst. Hopefully, this spring items will return.”
“Nice little local store. I liked the selection of local products, including salsa and pickles and farm fresh eggs, but the prices for some things are a little high. Good for a quick last minute stop or to pick up fresh food from the hot counter.”
“Love the selection of fruits and vegetables, and the obscene amount of snack cakes and cookie options that put the local upscale grocer to shame. Wide variety of staples. Decent quality Ice creams and frozen treats without breaking the budget.”

“We just moved to the area from Indy and this was, by far, the best experience I've ever had with a butcher. If you're going fir the first time, be aware that looks are deceiving and you are indeed in the right place. He has his butcher shop right by his house.That said, the prices are extremely reasonable and better than store prices. You also get to talk to the person actually doing the work. He doesn't do anything but cash anymore but he does have an ATM to use. I was surprised at the vacuum wrapped meat rather than the paper wrap I'm used to from big city butchers. Needless to say, my expectations for my meat vendors shot up considerably.10/10 from me and I'll be doing all my meat business here from now on.”
“Has variety of products in organized fashion. Refrigerated and frozen food items, fresh vegetables and household products are in supply. Self check out or cashier makes it a quick trip. Household decor better than any other area DG and is visually pleasing due to how well organized they keep the store. Convenient location too!”

“It has everything that you would expect out of a dollar general, but the building is ancient and filthy. It's not exactly the best neighborhood so it's perfect for the area, I guess. I just had a craving for chocolate peanut clusters and Blue Takis”

“Went to the store at 8:15 am on 2/26. Store was NOT open, employee was inside and unlocked the door about 20 after 8, website says the store opens at 8:00 am not 8:20 am. The store is one of the better ones in the area.”
“Dollar general in new Athens stays open till 10 pm Monday through Sunday and prices on somethings are cheeper than Marissa Dg and top it off with closing an hour early all week . So the price difference is probably due to 7 less hours in Marissa.”

“I was in the Belleville Gr. MT. Commons location, and went to the Vision Center to get my eye exam. I had great service from the worker named Logan! She was very friendly, helpful, made sure the new glasses I tried on were very comfortable, compared measurements from my old glasses to the new, and more! She was even multi tasking and answering calls too cuz it was a busy time of day. She offered to also tighten my old glasses cuz they are a bit loose from being old. Anyways, I wanted to give them a great review! I plan to come back for all of my Vision needs. Thank you Logan! :)”

ALDI is always clean and well-stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. And, of course, their prices are better than any other grocery store.”
