“this was a spur of the moment couple day trip for me and my fiance to get out of the house and we found the perfect hotel with super kind staff ! we were met by two different women at the desk and they were both accommodating and helpful ! pool area is clean and enjoyable and the king suite was most worth worth it ! so glad we were able to stop in and definitely coming back”

“Excellent customer service! Breakfast is much better than average! Breakfast staff members are friendly and helpful.
My room was very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast attendant, Doretha (“Miss D”) is amazing. I look forward to her smiling face and delicious breakfast every time I stay here.
I travel for work and stay in Staybridge Suites in several states. But Miss D’s breakfast is the best out of all the locations.
All the employees are great, the housekeeping staff, the front desk staff, and also the maintenance man.
I always stay at this hotel when I am working in this area.”
“I was here for work for a week and the staff was amazing and friendly. Especially andre and didi. They both were great and helped me when I lost my key and when my door got stuck they didn't get irritated like alot of other people do. They went above and beyond.”

“Arrival, barricaded entrance. Not enough parking.Front desk needs training. First set of keys did not work, went back to the desk, she reprogrammed them, went back to room only to find she gave us the wrong room to begin with. 212 the single queen room next to the elevator. Went back down argued with front desk, pulled out my confirmation with the deluxe 2 queen room and was able to get keys that worked. We were late for dinner with my family because of the mishandling of our entire check in process. Room was nice. Breakfast was substandard at best, we liked it better when it was in the restaurant. Check out, she could/would not print out a receipt for us.”
“The Hampton Inn and Suites in Schererville was a lovely experience. My husband and I were traveling with our daughter and her two young boys. The pool was a big hit. The rooms were immaculate, and beds were very comfortable. Erica was manning the front desk during our two-day stay, and she was an absolute delight. We needed extra towels & washcloths, and she took care of our need immediately. Erica was personable and welcoming to every person we saw enter the hotel, engaging travelers in conversation and seeming genuinely committed that everyone enjoy their stay. She personified hospitality, and made a really nice hotel stay memorable.”

The bad-
Our windows did not lock- they had to use a stick to keep it closed- they did offer a different room however we had just settled in, I had a procedure and couldn’t lift more than 5lbs; so it was not a good option for us.”
“Michelle is amazing and very personable. She is also a Believer. Tree is another gem, you have to taste her cooking (that woman brings in food to share (OH MY GOD) is she a Chef? Max always is energetic and upbeat. I know I can be a pain and very needy, but they all keep helping me. David is quiet, but he keeps the place in tip top shape. John has a system of mopping and cleaning, that is detailed and convenient for everyone.
Jill keeps that breakfast hot, delicious, and she keeps a smile of her face. Flor is also a sweetheart.
The maid service is second to none.
Shucks, this place is my temporary home (because of a fire at my house); but I'm so glad these people I mentioned above had made me feel so comfortable.
I get off work early, just to come home, I mean to the hotel early sometimes to relax! For real...”

I will never ever go to theses hotels again. Very bad situation. Not pleased at all. I'm just glad I only had to stay one night.”

“So you are honestly getting what you paid for. So if your thinking its gonna be super nice like mini fridge or blow dryer. Nope. Its a motel. Its really good for the price honestly. Me and my husband stayed for one night after a concert. Bed was firm which I like. The floor in room 201 is bowing up in some spots. That door you have to shove open. It is tight. Which is a good thing. Its safe no one is gonna get to you in that room. Lol but the reason I put 4 instead of 5... the bath tub. It is super slippery when you go to get in. Even with a handle. So if you might want to put a towel down to give you some traction when you go to get in.
I fell super hard on the tub part. Its a deeper type of tub. I held on to the handle, went to step in on my right leg. It kicked out from under me. My left inner thigh hit the top of the tub. It was so hard to even try to get back up. I hurt a muscle in my right arm trying to catch myself.... I have a failed spinal fusion on my L5S1 my bone didnt grow. So my spine is held up by 4 rods. And its at the tale bone. So I already have issues with my hips because of it. I am having my doctor on monday get me an mri so I can make sure the tub didnt mess up my back even more.
I would just suggest maybe for the future.. that the motel just get cheap shower matts. So there is a little grip or traction.”

“Room was neat and clean, bathroom just didn't have extra toliet paper. The Staff was pleasant so no complaints. I would say the breakfast was nice. Waffles were self made and delicious. No meat, but filling just the same. Getting into the street where the entrance was was a bit tricky. That was my biggest problem. I would stay there again.”

“Stayed for work. The location is very safe. They do have an elevator to the second floor. There are in the process of remodeling during my stay. The hallway isnt done yet but my room is brand new. There are plenty of lamps so the room is very well illuminated. There is a good amount of fast food eating very close by. The price was very good. The staff at the front desk is very friendly. Im always gone before the breakfast. I still have a couple weeks left to stay.”

“Was a quick one night stay as we were heading back home to Ontario Canada. The room was quite large & comfy. Although the carpets seemed a bit dirty the overall cleanliness was great. The staff were very friendly & the continental breakfast was amazing! Biscuits & gravy ? Another bonus was a brewery right across the road. Definitely recommend staying here.”
“Great place if you're working in the area. (Per Diem Peeps). This is an older property, but management has done a good job on cleanliness & upkeep. The staff is very courteous & quick to respond to any request. My room was clean & housekeeping was top notch. Plenty of hot water & close to everything. My only issue was some sporadic internet issues. But if you're looking for a reasonable clean room, I would recommend this BW. I will definitely stay here again.”
“You get what you pay for; I guess. Staff was friendly put the atmosphere otherwise was creepy. Got to witness a fist fight on my last night there. We'll not so much a fist fight but somebody getting stole on... can't knock the place for the behavior of the guests. Yes other reviews are correct about the cleanliness and condition of the rooms but I had no problem with staff... Be on your P's and Q's when staying here or any place like it”

“receptionists, please for the safety and peace of mind towards your guests [especially guests who are women] DO NOT say their room number out loud. i might not be a target, but i've heard stories of OTHERS whose safety has been at risk and compromised [not here, but from social media stories that people actually experienced]
anyway, check in was fine. i was the only guest in the lobby i don't know if she was used to doing that since i'm sure she's been on that job for a while .. she said my room number aloud. which ticked me off.
[i left a similar note on another review] safety in this *world* is important
[no foul play when i say this, i went to a mainstay hotel days later and the receptionist said my room # aloud with a stranger in the midst!]

“Currently undergoing massive renovation due to new ownership. Usual minor construction noises during the day. New rooms are beautiful. Management stated intention that renovation should be done by holidays.
Rooms: New rooms beautiful. Housekeeping at this hotel has always been excellent.
Food and drinks: Restaurant located on property. Breakfast is usual fare. Lunch and dinner meals are more of a sports bar / entertainment venue type. Happy hour from 4-7 weekdays. Most days have a special theme and type of entertainment. Restaurant is very popular with the locals on the weekends.”
