“The service I received here was beyond satisfactory. I came here to complete my po box reservation as well as deliver a package. At a previous location, they failed to put my business name on the box. So i switched locations, which i wish i would have chose this location in the first place. The clerk that assisted me was accurate, efficient, and put the business name on the box while I was still there! I am so happy with this transition”

“Nice little low visibility US post office at the north end of strip mall off Ridge Road near Calumet Avenue. Has all the usual offerings you would expect, and it was a nice clean facility. When we dropped in there were two operators working the counter, and they were efficient and very friendly.I had made a passport appt. - which the system did not show, but they processed me anyway. Some reluctance to accept my military ID (which post office main web site says they accept). Many post office locations get bad reviews, but this one was very nice.”
“I went to Homewood with a 2pm appointment Monday for a Passport, and it was a mess. Rescheduled for the next day at Hazel Crest.These 2 ladies, Andrea was one, I didn’t catch the other, but both were very pleasant, very kind, helpful, and just all around made the whole experience amazing and efficient. I was in, had a pic taken, paid and out in 15 minutes or less.Best customer service I’ve had anywhere in a long time! Thank you !!”

“We are so fortunate to have this Post Office staff in our community! Our carrier Sue is phenomenal. I think our dogs like her more than us. The deliveries are on time, and we often get a call to make sure a delivery that is time sensitive was made from the local Postmaster. If I could rate them higher than Google's five stars, I would.”
“I went to this post office and was greeted at the door by a man in a Batman costume. He was nice and gave me a half eaten sandwich. Delicious mustardy. I even found free gum on the underside of the counter! How Nice! I even found 13 cents and a Tootsie Role on the floor! Amazing!!!”
“Much better than the Frankfort Post Office. I guess I will just have to go out of my way to go here as the employees are much nicer and I'd rather drive extra than deal with the nasty USPS worker at Frankfort that everyone complains about.”

“I find the staff helpful. I love how they decorate for the holidays, even ones that I don't celebrate. Now I rarely have issues with the packages I mail out. There were some problems mailing out packages during the beginning and height of the pandemic, but no more delivery problems now. I trust this post office. Regarding the frequent uncleanliness, I spoke to the P.O. manager. They share a custodian with at least 1 other post office. So that is the reason that it often looks messy. I even offered to vacuum for them, but they didn't have a working vacuum cleaner. These are hard times for businesses, please remember, it takes a village.”

I had to come back and edit this review. Because I received a follow up call from the post office and they made sure that I issue was resolved. If I remember the rep. who me was named Darryl. He was professional.”

“The lady who usually works here is always professional and helpful to me. If I have a question, she answers it the best she can. She’s human, so I know sometimes there’s more work to do than she has hands. I couldn’t do her job. A lot of rude customers come to this location and talk to her any type of way, and expect that “customer is always right” mentality. Hopefully they get some additional help at this location.”
