“The pizza is fresh. The doughnuts are too. Tasty food is served here with a sub bar, freshly baked pizzas, doughnus, and even homemade treats for sale! Also has a variety of drinks, snacks, and candy.”

“Came in for vaccinations. The pharmacist was very nice and took care of us quickly and efficiently. Totally recommend for vaccinations (have not used pharmacy for prescriptions).”

“Nice shop, always looks half empty. I guess the manager of dairy orders inside the grocery store orders the restock for this gas station and doesn't give them much because the store wants people to shop at store and not just the gas station. Not a good plan since there is a Walgreens and CVS across the street three doors down in each direction, not everyone is willing to hike to the back of the store to get milk. So they go somewhere else.
Employees in the gas station are a lot more pleasant than most employees in the grocery store.”

“I've come to the davenport area for work for about a month and came across this gem of a convenience store, Sam's Food. It has everything you could need for a neighborhood convenience store from actual hot food (fish, chicken, pizza puffs, fries/wedges, hot wings, cheeseburgers, gyros, Italian beef, philly cheese steaks and more!), to chips and candy to sodas and juices, to coffee and pastries, you name it. There's a huge selection of everything including frozen food.
I don't smoke or drink, but they've got a huge selection of those categories as well.
The place is kept clean even during the salty snow days.
The family running the store are so sweet and pleasant to interact with.
It was such a convenience to me to learn that they own the laundry mat next door as well. I've washed a few times in there and while the washing and drying was quick, the clothes came out very clean. Thanks, y'all!”

While I stumbled tru the new process with the insurance cards, he was caring, very patient and considerate. I was in guest service over 40 years and I know you do not come by a gem like this man every day. I hope he is a very valued employee!”
