“I recently purchased a Weber griddle online for in-store pickup. I wasn't completely sure about the measurements and assumed it would come in a box since I planned to pick it up rather than have it shipped because I needed it the next day.
When I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, and to my surprise, the griddle was already assembled, which was a huge plus! I quickly realized it might not fit in the back of my SUV. The employees took the time to measure it for me, and unfortunately, it was just a little too big.
I went home to grab my spouse's vehicle and returned just before closing. Even at the end of the day, the staff went above and beyond. They re-measured everything, including the back of the vehicle, helped us carefully load the griddle, and made sure it was positioned to avoid any scratches on our brand-new car. The owner even loaned us a moving blanket to help protect it during transport.
This Ace Hardware truly stands out. The team is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Even though we don't live in Lebanon, I will absolutely go out of my way to shop at this location again.”

“My daughter needed some cherry plywood for a printmaking project at SIU-E. I called Kunz late on a Saturday morning (around 11:40 am) and Doris told me that they had some in stock. The store was set to close at noon and I was 20 minutes away. Adding to my dilema, I had no way to fit a full 4x8' sheet in my Jeep Cherokee. Doris told me to take my time and that she'd stay on until I arrived. Additionally, she asked one of the guys to return to the store in order to cut the sheet down for me into four 2x4' sheets. I got there right at noon and the material was already cut and waiting for me. No extra charge for keeping them over, the call back, or the cuts. I don't know of anyplace else that would have done this for an infrequent customer on a very small order. Kunz is about an hour and a half from my home, but is now my "go-to" for hardwoods. Thank you both for going way above and beyond in customer service and kindness! You deserve WAY more than five stars!!”
