“I recently moved to Lake Villa and needed a new feed store near me. Personally, I don't like chain pet stores and prefer to buy from smaller business for my animals. This one is fantastic! Friendly staff, GREAT prices, and has everything from farm animals to backyard wildlife and indoor pet supplies. Additionally, I'm big on single ingredient and responsibly sourced products for my dogs, and Grayslake Feed Sales has options in that realm too. I already recommend this business to everyone!”
“We took our two dogs here to get their nails trimmed. The groomer couldn't have been nicer. One of the dogs was very skittish, and she kept talking to him in a very calm voice to keep him calm. I wish I knew her name to give her the proper recognition she deserves.”

Brie advised me very thoughtfully on an alternative approach to my Basset Hound ears situation… and she’s very helpful.
She takes her time listening to the concerns and then advises what she believes is something that has already been working on other pups with the exact same issue.
Then I got to the register and Michael and Mathew were very nice.
The ambiance in the store is very welcoming.
I bought the best food also advised by Brie and I left with such a happy feeling that I thought I had absolutely to share with my fellow animals lovers.when we go get our animals their food or we need additional advice we need to feel that we are in a place were people know what are they talking about.
More importantly they know more than us and they are kind with their time.

“The aquarium light arrived in great shape and was packaged securely in an outer box with packing material protecting the inner product box. The item is correct and what I ordered. The ordering experience was very easy and I see their shop offers cool extras, which I am sure is awesome for folks who are frequent orderers. The only complaint I had was I ordered premium 1-4 day shipping. The item had not yet left their shop on day 5. I contacted customer service about the issue and they were very prompt in addressing it. I think I contacted them by email at around 8am and the problem was addressed to my satisfaction by noon. I really like that they have actual people checking their email and working with customers throughout the day. I would definitely order from this shop again for that alone. Well done!”

“The owner and staff are so nice. Great attention to detail and they make my dog feel so comfortable. They always ask you exactly what your dog needs. She's a pomeranian/shitsu mix with lots of hair and comes out so clean and cute every time. Good scheduling so your dog is not there longer than needed.”

“Not only are their dog groomers the most empathetic, best dog workers, but my German Pincher, Dobby, actually looks forward to going. They really take their time and give care, not just me nail trimmings & salon work.
Further, since starting to carry dart frogs, over been able to find that their flightless fruit flies, etc, are more suited for purchase and feed-right-away. This is so important, especially first beginners in the specialty pet industry. It can be hard getting food for these pets as cultures often take a month to start hatching. They know this, date and cycle appropriately - so the wait is virtually non existent.

, yeah, all the dogs , over 50 plus in my life, yes I am ancient, BUSTER a is a pure bred HOUND ! Red bone ! Wonderful breed, but ya gotta have patience with this breed, I have adopted GSPs, GERMAN Shepards , mixed , off the street, lost and found , this guy is like a land shark, but so sweet and gentle.
He had sisters here last couple of weeks before LAST CHRISTMAS!?

“I wanted to leave a review to recognize the cashier who helped me during my visit today at the Gurnee PetSmart location. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but her associate ID on my receipt is A-509580.
She was incredibly patient and took the time to make sure my coupons were applied correctly so I received the proper discounts. She was kind, helpful, and never once made me feel rushed during the process.
While I was checking out, another customer behind me became extremely rude and impatient and even used a derogatory slur toward the cashier. Despite the situation, she remained calm, professional, and respectful the entire time. It honestly impressed me how well she handled such an uncomfortable moment.
I ended up speaking up because the comment was completely unnecessary, but I wanted to make sure she receives recognition for how kind and professional she was throughout the entire interaction. Employees like her make a big difference in the customer experience.
