“They dont make em like these guys anymore! I couldn't afford a pro so i tried to replace a kitchen faucet myself. Ran into other issues. Ron was so sweet! Super knowledgeable, eager to help, even talked me through most of the repair in person and by phone. Tell him Deb with the purple hair sent you 😉”

“The staff is very helpful. I talked to a gentleman. I believe it was JEFF in the paint department. I had a seriously rusted wrot iron railing. All the suggestions he gave me helped make the project easier. The store has a stock of just about everything. There was one certain primer that I needed. They ordered it for me on Saturday and I picked it up on Monday. Can’t ask for better service than that. I’ll recommend this story to anyone.”
900 East 31st Street, La Grange Park IL 60526

“Sure it is a little bit more expensive than the Home Depot that I live next to but I’m willing to drive from the west side of Schaumburg to come here just for the customer service element. Just today I needed three decorative screws and even they only had 3 people working in the entire store I was able to get help thanks to the store manager knowing his shift change. This is old school stuff that doesn’t exist in the Chicago area much anymore. Plus it just has that comforting feeling of going to a hardware store as a kid with my dad. That’s hard to beat.🙂”
60 LaGrange Road, La Grange IL 60525
“Excellent service on the lighting department. Number one the array of lighting is so fantastic. Each fixture is work of Art. They have a giant computer screen that you can scroll through to see every and any light fixture on the planet is totally enjoyable. My designer at the store is Katie and she was just perfect for me. Excellent communication, relaxed, friendly made it so easy for me to spend my money at Hortons. I will be back and I highly encourage anybody to come to the store it does say Ace hardware Hortons. The lighting is upstairs and the hardware section is downstairs.”

“I want to give a huge thank-you to John at Ace Hardware today for his outstanding customer service! He went above and beyond to help me replace a part on our weed wacker, and he was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. It’s so refreshing to receive this kind of personal service. John took the time to make sure I had what I needed and made the whole experience so easy. Thank you, John, for going the extra mile! Ace Hardware is lucky to have you!”

“Nice store. I needed gardening gloves and landscaping waste bags. They were very conveniently placed near the cashier. The gardening glove selection is limited, but I was able to find a pair that fit my hands, and contained a protective leather tip for the index finger. Great for digging around river rocks. It’s a small store and the selection of product varieties is highly curated. But it’s my first stop to purchase items for my home’s hardware needs.”
272 West Lake Street, Bloomingdale IL 60108
“My hometown hardware store. I've shopped here many times and have never been disappointed. The staff are always very friendly and helpful . They can help you find anything you're looking for. This morning, I even picked up some free grass from the area in front of the parking lot. One of the staff members was kind enough to bring me a bottle of cold water. I really appreciated the thoughtful gesture. Excellent customer service—I highly recommend this store!”

“David at Ace Hardware is an absolute lifesaver! I was on a mission to find a very specific screw, and honestly, I was starting to lose hope. David didn't just point me in a direction; he walked me over, listened carefully to what I needed, and somehow knew *exactly* which obscure screw it was. David’s knowledge and patience were incredible. Ace Hardware is lucky to have him!”

“Ace is the place and this particular store is one of my go to spots for hardware and keys. I also bought my last Toro mower here. The only downside is when I had the mower serviced, there was not very good communication about how things were going. This might have been due to the place they send the mowers out to, but the manager recently told me she would personally get back to me and didn’t.”
835 Burlington Avenue, Western Springs IL 60558
“Locked my keys in my car. These guys helped me to get back in AND didn't want to charge me anything. I forced some cash in them (but not enough). Still some great people in this world who don't stepping in and helping someone in a bind. BIG THANKS!”
225 W Roosevelt Rd, Lombard IL 60148
“Erin was lovely and possibly the reason the business looks more like a model home than a body shop. Dave was very helpful and really went above and beyond in both his work and his explanations/communications with me!”

“My AC was leaking and had Antonio come resolve the issue. He was prompt and respectful. Fully explained what happened and how to prevent it in the future. As anyone knows it’s difficult to someone you can always rely on but AnyTemp has been my go to for HVAC related issues since recently installing a new furnace for me. All their employees are knowledgeable and take their time to explain what’s going on which is greatly appreciated. Fantastic work and value.”

“Carlson Glass & Mirror are a great resource for any glass and mirror needs. We recently gave them an antique coffee table top that had a crack in the glass top. Ray was straightforward with me about the potential cost and time it would take. Surprisingly, Ray called me the next day and advised that they were able to complete the work overnight and for far less than we anticipated. I would highly recommend them.”

Carl spent about 30 minutes working on it and eventually got it tuned up great. He was extremely knowledgeable and generous with his time. I really appreciated it. Two younger guys at the front desk were also very helpful. The store is immaculate and organized and I got some nice lumber at a great price.”
