Usually after you make a mistake you feel really dumb but she had a huge smile on her face and just got things done. “We had an order yesterday for our fire department, since several of our guys were out on scene at a fire and I placed this at Caseys and they were able to dominate it! Annette, who is the manager there, was so amazing with us and she actually said there were a couple pizzas that had a couple mistakes (wrong topping for order, wrong size, etc.) and they were going to throw them away anyways. She went ahead and gave them to us for the fire department. I thought that was amazing of her, considering that guys hadn’t eaten all night and when they came back to the station, they had meals waiting for them. The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
