“I absolutely love this trader joes, the staff has always been extremely kind to me. They have a great selection of affordably priced flowers. Their alcohol selection is great too, and again, affordably priced.
I would highly recommend checking out some of Trader’s skincare, a lot of it is highly recommended by dermatologists and estheticians.
I absolutely love their frozen food section as well. The pizza bites and pancake puffs are some of my favorites, and a big comfort food for me.
I don’t know how accurate this is, I saw it online, but apparently you can ask TJ staff to try items? I’d say give it a shot because that honestly sounds great. (Apologies TJ staff if that ends up being false)
My only complaint about trader joes isn’t the staff, its the customers. If you’re reading this, learn some spacial awareness and to pay better attention to your surroundings. Because some of you I’m yelling excuse me and you’re still leaving your cart in the middle of the walkway, making it impossible for the employees to do their job. And you make it an extremely overstimulating experience for me. Thank youuuu”
“I really enjoy coming to this Trader Joe's. The staff is friendly and willing to help you find anything and very interactive with my kiddos. The parking lot can get chaotic at times so I always try to go for the back parking lot or even walk from the Aldi parking lot if I'm not getting too many things. Best bet is to avoid the high traffic times altogether.”
“Overall good prices. But it's really the selection of foods from various ethnicities that's fun. Lots of imported items. Meat selection is very good also. Just a little different than the regular grocery stores around here makes grocery shopping fun.
If you've ever traveled in Europe and in particular Eastern Europe, you'll have experienced the fact that those folks aren't as effusive in their personal interactions with others. It's the same here. No wide smiles and small talk. Just quick and efficient service. I like it.”

I appreciated how he took time to talk to me and answered my questions about which foods he recommends someone to try that's unique to other cultures. “Haven’t been to a Pete’s outside of the city before but I’m glad I decided to stop by this one near Danada on my way home because it is a fantastic option for groceries and more. The produce section alone was worth it with stacks of fresh fruit and veggies everywhere and good competitive prices for everything and even samples available to try. Very helpful when it came to deciding whether the cantaloupe was worth it or not. I would even argue that the produce is better than at the Jewel AND Whole Foods down the road.
The store is well-kept and clean throughout. The bakery, meat and cheese departments and the hot food/salad bar area are great. They have several made-to-order options that looked good and worth trying. Some of the standouts were the broasted chicken, pizza and sushi. For such a fresh looking assortment of dishes to be available at 1pm was a big enticement to come back to grab something for lunch next time I’m in the area.
As far as grocery options I would be surprised if you couldn’t find what you were looking for in such an expansive store. This is especially true when it comes to the huge variety of international cuisine options. All of the workers I had interactions with were friendly too.”

“Stopped in for some fruit and garden plants. One of the best stocked and clean grocery stores I’ve ever been in. The setup is a lot different where each type of grocery item has its own little corner so everything is easy to find. Glad I stopped in.”
“What a great market! Largest gluten-free section I have ever seen. Great bakery, charcuteries, meat, and produce areas. Not the biggest supermarket in the area but the classiest and most upscale for sure. Party time supplies.”
“I love the deep fried gorditas (carnitas) and they have a variety of other food made if gorditas isn't your thing. Also you have to ask for them, they are not out by the other food, they are in the oven.”

Good deals on meat, fresh vegetables and get lost in their random buys. You never know what you will find at Aldi.
Bring a quarter for a cart.”
“This is a great Aldi location because just around the corner, near Naperville Rd there are other shopping plazas with convenient stores.
I’ve long noticed how different Aldi locations carry relatively different items pertaining to neighborhood crowd.
For example this Aldi location has a bunch of Asian food choices. While the Aldi on Route 59/Ogden in Naperville/Aurora has a different selection of items. In summer I purchased a toddler 6ft plastic pool which I didn’t see elsewhere. Another Aldi on Route 59 towards The Morton Arboretum, has a more Hispanic version of food.
I mostly shop at this location because it’s the closest, but sometimes I alternate with another if I’m near that area. In any case, most Aldis have seasonal items but some locations don’t carry certain things. Hence the reason for alternating different stores. All-in-all I love Aldi, for great affordable prices and interesting home decor items that can’t be spotted anywhere else.
One time my mom even purchased a set of furniture which is still standing and holding it strong ?! So Aldi is great.”

“May first introduction to Aldi was a couple decades ago when I used to live in Germany. I would never think to see them in the USA, especially near our house. Now we regularly go there. It's very affordable and the products you can get where are often quite unique.”

“Today (August 26th) around 6:40 PM a blonde lady rang me up and even packed my items neatly into my boxes. Usually the cashiers throw things into the cart, so I was very appreciative of her. This also happened after I had problems with my EBT card at a previous register, so this just eased my frustrations. Great customer service on her part!”
“GFS is our go-to for purchasing supplies for food events at church. The food pricing is very good. The disposable paper goods however have really increased in price over the years. Plastic eating utensils have more than doubled.”
“I stopped by here to get some Thai basil and other things. The owner is friendly lady. They do have fresh seafood there. So the lady that left the review saying It smells like sewage in there is a dumb , dumb. What does she expect for fish to smell like roses? And the fish was not rotting .
They have a variety of Asian ingredients, cooking supplies, vegetables, food to go…Some people might not be use to the way how the store is set up because it’s an Asian style market, this is not Mariano’s or jewel osco so what do you expect?”

“Fresh Thyme feels like a little oasis of fresh flavors and friendly faces. The store itself is beautifully laid out and well stocked, which makes strolling the aisles feel more like a treasure hunt than a chore.
A special shout-out to Assistant Store Manager Jen. She wasn’t just helpful, she was delightfully engaged. She guided me right to the items I needed and even tossed in creative recipe ideas.

“Aldi delivers on what it’s known for, great prices. My wife especially loves the high quality chocolates at such reasonable cost, which I’m pretty sure is her way of sending me a message. The store is clean, the staff are friendly, and they always seem busy keeping things running. I’m also a big fan of their fresh pizzas, they’re large, tasty, and incredibly affordable.
On the downside, some items do sell out from time to time. Those pizzas in particular can disappear fast, although that probably says more about how popular they are than anything else. The overall selection is also on the smaller side. Still, considering the prices they manage to offer, it’s hard to expect an endless variety.”
