“It feels good to drive through or look around because it feels like an old small town. The post office looks like an old house with a name plate hanging out side painted in an old font style. The post-office is nice and warm. I went there for in-person identity verification to complete a USPS Change-of-Address. The lady in there was welcoming and helped me get my work done in a jiffy. I never knew there was a post-office there.”
“On the positive side, the workers were helpful when I had questions about international shipping. On the negative side, only two employees were working in the front, and I stood in line for about 10 minutes before receiving help. In comparison to other USPS locations, I would say this staff was more polite and helpful, and the wait time was about average.”

“I love this post office and the folks who work here. I live in St Charles and go out of my way to come here; the St Charles post office is horrendous, they close during the afternoon when they want, they are rude and take forever even when dropping a simple package. Porsche and Brian are always friendly and helpful every time I come in to drop off items-which I do weekly.”

“All my life I’ve dealt with carol steam post office..always rude people/clearly showing they hate their jobs so I expected the same level of energy at the Winfield location. Except to my surprise Winfield staff are really nice and very professional!. I made an appointment for 3 passports and Kyu was very accommodating, nice and thorough. The lady working next to him was also pleasant to everyone who came in to drop off mails or whatever.”

“When I first walked in I was helped by a woman who was so rude to me I've never been there before and she offered me no help or information and let me just stand there not knowing what to do and then another woman came forward and her name was Bess and she helped me thoroughly and sympathized with how co fusing the return was. “I've sent packages occasionally in the past two years at this location and always had good service. Since I rarely use the postal service, I usually had questions on how different kinds of mail service work. Each time the employees there answered my questions patiently and helped me find the best rate. The packages I've sent so far have all reached their destinations in the time frame promised.”
“Diana was so helpful yesterday with my son’s passport application process. I had been having issues with booking an appointment on the website, and thought I had set his appointment up for yesterday. Apparently the appointment booking didn’t work. Diana took the time to get it put together and submitted for us anyhow. Thank you, Diana, for your help and cheerfulness!”
“Meh it's a post office. I think most of these reviews are based off "feelings" rather than understanding what the employees deal with here everyday. Very uppity, snobbish, entitlement talking down to you type of customers. 4 stars because the service is slow, due to under staffing not because of the employees.”

“Not really sure of all the bad reviews. Never had a bad experience here. Today was the best. Made an appointment for by kids to get passports, or so I thought I did, the man that helped us was like, not a problem I'll do it. He told me where I forgot to hit confirm. He was so nice. Even the ladies working here seemed super nice and friendly. We were in and out in about 15 minutes. Thank you Streamwood post office for making my kids first post office visit exceptional!”
“This place has easy accessible parking lot iff the store. Spacious area with island and supplies ( for purchase) to prepare your package. PO box is available. Andrea was very helpful and friendly. Speedy service with no lines.PLEASE MAKE A NOTE-post office will be closed for lunch from 1-2.If you are picking up missed Package(s), please do not goto this location. All packages pick up at carol stream location.There is no access to printer here so please print your label at home. Cashier will not able to print your label however QR CODE is okay for her to accept it.”

“I walked in looking for a box that is used to ship items free and couldn’t find it, so then I started looking at larger boxes that cost. Diane told me not to use that box because it would be too expensive. She then had me try two less expensive packages that didn’t work and then found a box that would be free. She then taped the box around the oversized item even when I told her she could take care of another person. Thankyou for not giving up on me.”

Much better experience than most post offices. We understand that people can have problems at times, but it is more important than ever to recognize the positive as well!”
