“The customer service at this store was superb. I’ve been to several stores in Portage,In and Illinois and this was by far the most welcoming store of them all. I called and spoke with Demetrius before coming. He was so pleasant and took his time answering my questions and addressed my concerns. When we arrived to the store we met Angela who was just as wonderful. She took her time to assist us and explain everything thoroughly. She made the entire process a breeze. She was very knowledgeable about the products we were searching for. During this visit we also met the manager who Al was also helpful and very friendly. Overall the experience was wonderful. Great store with good people. I’m so happy we made the commute and didn’t give up on American freight based off the previous experience we had from other stores.”

“Pentwater cabinets delivered as promised and damaged free. The cabinets were fully put together and wrapped to prevent any damage. Angel was very helpful and knowledgeable about this job in an office. All drawers are dove tail joints with very heavy duty shelving. Would highly recommend this Pentwater Cabinets and Angel, if you want a quality cabinet with great design. This job from start to finish took three weeks and turned out fabulous for a special order cabinets. Everything was seamless from start to finish? Thanks again Angel for a job well done. Every appliance I own came from that store because the service is very knowledgeable, their prices are typically better than other places, delivery is quick and their selection is large (price points for all budgets). “I went to Home Depot today looking for some paint and the man at the paint station (I think his name was Jeff) was SO helpful!!! He realized I didn't really know what I was doing or what products I needed, and he took the time to explain the process, recommend certain paint techniques, helped me select which products to buy, and answered all my questions. I've never had such incredible service at a store like this before. He was so focused on helping his customers that I didn't get a chance to properly thank him before he was off to help someone else. Please give Jeff a raise because whatever you are paying him is not enough! :) Even the lady who checked me out was friendly and greeted me with a smile. 10/10 experience shopping at this store, I will definitely be back if I have any other home improvement needs!”

“The customer service from the employees at this location are top notch. I am from St. Louis, MO. and was in town for a hockey tournament. Thirty minutes before we had to be at the rink, my son noticed the blade on his stick was broken. We had a backup stick, but it needed to be cut to size. We went to this Home Depot location and a wonderful gentleman named Patrick took us over to the area that you can use the hand saws, and cut the stick for us himself. We were in and out of the store within 5 minutes and were able to make it to the rink just in time. I can't thank him enough for his generosity, it would have taken me much longer to saw the stick myself!”

“Once again I returned to Best Buy/ Pacific Kitchen and Bath to price shop. I have purchased several items from Pacific because of the sales team I have encountered in the past. There is so much new information today and comparison shopping is a nightmare. My regular sales person was off today and I was greeted by Mildred and pleasantly offered assistance. I was looking for ovens and she was a wealth of information. I had no intention to purchase just select the brand I needed. We started at very high end Viking at my request and worked down looking at many many ovens. This is an exhausting experience. Mildred could answer every question and even redirect me to brands that fit my cooking needs. Design and function over price was my need. Plastic knobs, not enough BTU's, poorly designed burners were some concerns. Mildred narrowed down my selection and next we pulled up the ovens on line and compared the advantages of each oven. THIS was superb all pricing, design, elements and options were printed out. Samsung has a very cleaver new oven with a single door that can actually break into a two piece door. The center burner is very inefficient for my use in the cooking process. Mildred was extremely helpful with high power BTU's, higher quality burners, design elements and oven features. A perfect oven was decided upon after looking at so many choices. A sale was made. I would have wasted a lot of time and even though I had researched ovens when I arrived today. Thank you. I would have never had the information Mildred presented. Very professional and knowledgeable. As I mentioned I had no intention to purchase. I have never had a rude sales person. Actually been rather surprised about the amount of product knowledge in this quickly changing industry the staff presents. I have had delivery issues and a small dent in the past and it was taken care of immediately.”

“Ever since i moved to the area i have been in the bartlett location on a weekly basis. Nihad has been my go to guy! Every time i see him he has been working with other staff on improving with resolution and quality talks. The past two visits i went to say hi but saw he was busy working with other associates. So i didn’t want to interrupt. It is good seeing good management in place and see how looking for solutions by talking it out is always much more effective. The people overall seem to care about your experience and its a great environment to shop in. Thanks home depot!”
