“We walked by the store on a sunny Saturday afternoon and saw these beautiful sparkly pink shoes. My twin granddaughters asked if we could go inside. They do not like to shop but were drawn by the shoes and the wonderful women who measured their feet. Our experience was beyond fabulous. Going forward I will be back with my 5 year old girls!!”

“Orie and Alma was phenomenal!!!! I went in with my very picky teenage daughter for her 8th grade graduation, if she found a shirt, she needed perfectly matching shoes etc. I was frustrated being in there for a couple of hours but orie and alma made it happen!! They went into the back to search for matching shoes and shirts, they went next door to the outlet to search etc. in the end my baby walked out extremely happy! Thank you orie and alma for going above and beyond to make my babies day special?”

“As a child of the 80s, I can say that I have been going to JCPenney for literally as long as my memory has been exisince. I think when we were little. It used to be JCPenney and the lower price point store 'Venture.' If any of you remember that when from when we were growing up. In the 1980's-90's, JCPenney was a higher price point marketed store; think Macy's, but NOT quite Nordstrom. I feel like now it is closer to Kohl's-esk pricing and quality. JCPenney has actively made attempts throughout it's existence to make sure they have, to the best of their abilities, adjusted their prices and seem to be in "the know" on what items to keep/not keep selling in order to fit in with the ever changing economy. For example, right now, when people can't spend much on the "flare" or "extras" they are very evidently focusing in on the necessities and (it was prom season while I was in there) reasonably priced gowns, As a department store, in general, JCPenney tries to keep their stores affordable, yet still mostly sells well made and meant to last products. The LARGE, but still limited, options when shopping INSIDE of a brick and mortar store are also incredibly nice to shop. When compared to, say, Amazon, or even Ebay or Etsy. You can never be sure exactly WHAT you're purchasing, the quality, the fit, OR if what you see even exists for sale at all. The scams ARE REAL out here, and it's nearly impossible to tell real sites, ads, and products from fake sites, ads, and products. Yes, I have, actually still do now, buy my children clothes from JC penney. They are always of great quality for a price that just, sometimes, cannot be beat! Especially as a single mother. Every CENT matters.”

“Such an adorable baby store! We just had our first baby, and this has quickly become our favorite place to visit. Every time we stop by, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. One time, a girl assisted me in finding an item I had seen on their Instagram page, and she was so sweet and helpful! Even before our baby arrived, they did a fantastic job helping us find baby shower and birthday gifts for my niece. We will definitely keep coming back!”

“If you have a daughter doing any type of dance (i.e. jazz, ballet, tap) or even gymnastics, you have to check this place out!!! Especially if you don't want to invest in all brand new gear. They carry brand name items with a huge supply of previously owned shoes, leotards and dance outfits. They also sell brand new tights. My daughter just started a class at our local park district that incorporates jazz, ballet and tap this week. The instructor 'suggested' getting shoes, tights and outfits for all 3 types of dance. I knew I didn't want to buy brand new things not knowing which dance style my daughter would want to pursue after this class is over. So I searched for a dance store that sold previously worn/used dance gear. I am so glad I found this place! I emailed the store this week in one evening, not really expecting a reply. I made myself a note to call the next day. When I opened my email the next morning, I had a reply from the owner! They didn't have any store hours until 2 days later on Thursday but offered to come in that evening for us by appointment. Both owners were there (there is a dance studio upstairs). They had my daughter's sizes pulled out so we could just sit and try on right away. They were so helpful in guiding us on the right fit and making suggestions. The store is decorated very cute and has a 'fancy dressing room' (as my daughter put it). My daughter is already talking about going back to pick out her next jazz outfit!!!”

Today, the 2 ladies asked me if I needed help, and were helpful when I had a question for them. I would like to see a bigger store in Bloomingdale for more selection, but I find most of what we need everytime. I'd be nice if they opened earlier than 11am most days as well.”
