“I usually don't write reviews but we just left a post office with a smile. Wasn't expecting 5 star service but that's exactly what we got when getting my 6 month year olds passport. The staff treated us like their own family and the process went as smooth as it could. If you have post office type things to get taken care of, this is the place to go. I'll be going here for all my post office needs and might even stop in to say hi to the great staff they have working here.”
“Usually I come here after a less than satisfying trip to the Westmont Post Office and this location is a breath of fresh air. The employees are helpful and kind. Even when there is a long line behind me, they still don't rush or make it feel like I'm inconveniencing them.”
“You know, it's a rare occasion you go to the post office and not just have decent service but for somebody to be so delightful to work with and go completely above and beyond. Huge kudos to Lolita, she went completely above and beyond helping me with a couple of things and helping me get a refund for an item that never arrived on time for guaranteed service.
If you end up working with Lolita, you are going to be well taken care of. Every post office employee was as awesome as she was I would look for an excuse to mail stuff more often.”

There is free visitor parking just north of the building. Walking time to post office maybe 4 mins. Overall I had a great experience.”
“Went in as a family of 2 to get passports , the woman who helped us was very patient and helpful she had just gotten done with another family of 3 passports. She did have a line but she was nice to every single customer that came in and wasn’t rushing she treated us very well.”

“Out of the seven post offices near my house that I visited, this location by far has the most polite employees.
It’s located just minutes off of I-290.
You can find a few free parking spots in front of the building otherwise. Also, there is a parking lot on the other side of the street that can fit more people.
This post office was pretty clean as well.
When I visited, there was only one other person in line.”
“I love this post office is amazing. I always come on Saturday mornings and the representatives always has a smile on their face and the line moves fast. I come here from the south side because of the service.”
“This is truly the USPS I’ve ever been to. I had trouble getting my fingerprints but both ladies there had so much patience with me and really tried everything what they can do to help me out for literally an hour and a half. And I eventually was able to get record from FBI within the day, thanks to the two best employees in this location. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for their persistence and service-mindedness. Thank you so much again!! You guys are the best!!”
“This is literally the best post office I’ve been to in my entire life. Maybe you have to go in the middle of the day on a Tuesday… IDK IDK. Great customer service.. fast moving line… clean and well stocked. 10 out of 10.”
“I have visited this location several times and received good customer service. Although the store is very small it has always been organized. There is not plenty of parking so you might have to park a few spots away. However, there is handicap accessible parking for those who need it. The limited parking is probably the only thing I don't like about this location.”

“This is the best post office and I even drive out of my way a little bit just to come here. They're open JUST long enough after work hours (open until 6pm on weekdays!) so i can get my small etsy business orders out after my full time job. They always scan my packages without hesitation and with a smile, too! I'll never go to another post office again (and i've tried many over the years: Willow Springs, Bolingbrook, Westmont, Willowbrook, Oak Brook...) The workers are friendly, efficient, and never close a minute earlier than closing time. Thank you!”

“I went in yesterday with my mother for passport applications and had to leave a positive review for Tara. We came in after an unpleasant experience at another location, and she completely turned our day around. Tara was excellent—patient, respectful, and professional throughout the entire process.
We were genuinely happy with the service she provided. With how tedious this kind of work can be, she truly deserves recognition and praise from her company!”
“I can’t praise the service of USPS enough. My sister sent me a package from abroad, but the local post office put my house number as the zip code, and the address on the mailing label was missing my house number. It’s express mail, but the tracking shows no location. I was so afraid that the package would be lost somewhere. I went on the USPS website and filed an inquiry. A customer service representative from the Westchester post office sent me an email and called me the next day. She explained to me how the shipping works and assured me that she would pay attention to the package when it arrived.
It’s been nine days since my sister sent it out. She was planning to purchase another one and send it to me again. On a whim, I rechecked the USPS tracking and found it had been sent to the Westchester post office this morning. Believe it or not, I got it this afternoon. Awesome service.”
“Kenneth is the best. He acknowledges everyone and happy to help. I was going to prioritize mail and he suggested certified to send tax info because as long as it’s postmarked, no penalties. He didn’t have to tell me this option. He saved me some money because he’s kind. This office is always friendly and nice. The other reviews are unfair. This is a small post office, but gets the job done in a friendly way!”
“Strangely enough I have a fair bit of experiences with many different post offices in the area and this location is by far one of the nicest. The employees have come to recognize me and I am able to joke around with them which breaks the usual PO tension.”

“I have a small online business so I go here about once a week (usually morning) to drop off packages, buy stamps and recently for passport renewal. Every time I go its a very nice and quick visit. I’ve been to many other usps locations and this one is by far my favorite because of the employees. The 2 employees that always help me, muslim lady and African (I think) American lady are always very nice, helpful and welcoming. Service is 10/10 ?”

“I had such a wonderful experience at the USPS today thanks to Donae! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a genuine smile and a friendly attitude, which honestly made such a difference. She helped me with a return, walked me through certifying a piece of mail, and even took the time to schedule my passport appointment.
What really stood out to me was her patience and kindness. At other locations, I’ve sometimes felt rushed or like my questions were an inconvenience, but with Donae, it was the complete opposite. She made everything simple, efficient, and pleasant and I truly left feeling grateful for her help.
Thank you, Donae, for going above and beyond and making my day a little brighter. You’re an example of what great customer service should be!”
“I have been coming here for the last 10 years that I lived in this area and never had an unpleasant experience. I went in today after looking at the hours and then seeing these bad reviews, so I had to leave this now. I was in there alone, I stood aside because I had to fill in some information that the attendant was so nice to show me for sending certified mail. Mind you there were 30 minutes left til close. And then SIX people walk in, and she kicks in to high gear all the while maintaining her pleasantness. When she sees I was done she lets me come back up and finish my transaction. Her name was LEASES (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and she was so pleasant and so speedy (the lady behind me also complimented her), and a perfect employee to have had instructed me WHILE attending to six other people (which of course always happens right before close). Polite to everyone while I filled my paperwork, and remained polite to me with all my questions. Thank you!”

I sell & ship rare plants & they've always gotten to their destination when I mail from this post office. I've had issues at other locations but this one has consistently followed through & been super nice. I'll always come here & am grateful for them!”

“This is my new local post office and I avoided it the first few weeks because of the awful reviews. Once I finally went I really had no trouble. Not really any lines and Precious is always very nice as well as everyone else here. Never anIssue anytime of day. I had a package mishap only once when a different worker didn’t tell me the address wasn’t coming up for where I was sending it to-so it was returned to me and I had to pay shipping for it twice. Other than that 5 stars and im in here 2-3 times a week at different times during the day.Update like a year later : I wish I could leave another separate review as they really are always so nice here and it’s too bad the old reviews keep the overall reviews of this post office so low. Had a prepaid return but not a box for it (couldn’t use the free priority boxes) was about to buy one when a worker gave me a free box from the back.”
