“The return process needs to be better! There was a guy waiting in front of me an I was in line for 20 minutes an I dont know how long he was waiting! So I had to call in the office to see if I can just drop off the tow dolly or just wait in line! They told me I can just drop it off where they had it setting where they connected to my truck! An once I started unhooking it a nice guy in a little white hyundia pulls up an gets out an helps me! He was a nice guy an he stated once he goes to break everyone disappears! The guy was truly nice an I understand what he is sayn! If the drop off experience was better an doesn't take as long would be great! I will rent from uhaul again! The tow dolly road smooth an worked great an the price of renting it was pretty good! Oh the lady at the desk was nice aswell”

“The young cute black dude really looked out and did an amazing job connecting car transport and car to the box truck. I made it from Indianapolis to Houston with no mishaps. I drove faster than the recommended max speed of 55 mph which I do not recommend for safety reasons but that’s how well it drove. U-Haul was expecting me to hook this myself but the staff really came through and help. I can’t remember is his name but I really appreciate him.”

“CARMEL WELDING - U HAUL DID AN EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL JOB ON FIXING RUST IN THE FRONT END OF MY 2006 TOYOTA TUNDRA ON JANUARY 3, 2022> >THEY ALSO SAW DEFECTIVE SWAY BAR LINKS AND FIXED THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE SWAY BAR LINKS AS WELL. ON THE WAY HOME I NOTICED THE TRUCKS STEERING WAS SO MUCH BETTER / TIGHTER AND NO MORE STRANGE NOISES COMING FROM THE FRONT END WHEN DOING SHARP LEFT RIGHT TURNS!!. ALSO THEY WORKED ON MY 2004 TACOMA MANY YEARS AGO AND ON THAT REPAIR SAVED MY ROTTED OUT FRAME FOR ANOTHER 2 YEARS BEFORE IT FINALLY WENT OUT AND COULD BUY ANOTHER TRUCK. KEVIN IS AN EXCELLENT WELDER!!! I WAS SENT TO CARMEL WELDING FROM O'BRIEN TOYOTA INDIANAPOLIS SERVICE DEPT MANY YEARS AGO!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR FRAME DAMAGE REPAIR!! AFTER THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED THEY REPLACED THE ZIEBART COATING AS WELL ! AAAAA+++++ EXCELLENT WORK AND FAIR PRICE !!!!!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARMEL U HAUL WEDLING!! “Owen did a great job installing a trailer hitch on our vehicle. We took our vehicle to the Castleton location first (just because it was closest to us), but they refused to install the hitch because they said the bolt holes were rusted. My dad looked himself, and spent at most 20 minutes with a wire brush and WD-40 and the holes worked fine (clearly the Castleton location was just too lazy to do the work themselves). We let Owen know we had cleaned the bolt holes and he shouldn't have any trouble, and he thanked us and told us he would have done that anyway. We could tell he did his homework, as he updated our online order with parts that would work best for our vehicle, which actually ended up saving us money in the end! We really appreciated his hard work!”

“The trick here is call first. The office is close to impossible to find and no one is usually there. Once you find them they're very helpful. A one day move for a five room house was less than a hundred dollars.”

“I went to UHaul to fill a propane tank, had never been there before. I pulled in the entrance and ran into the customer service area. It was busy. I asked a man in a uHaul collared shirt where to go and he walked outside with me and pointed and I specifically asked if I could drive over because there was a do not enter sign and he said yes. I drove over and parked next to the propane and got out with the heavy tanks. A young woman yelled out that I could not park there and I said that I was just told by someone in customer service to pull over here for the propane. She said "you're not special, you don't get to park there."Now, that's not a nice way to speak to a customer, particularly given it is not marked that you cannot park. I moved the car across the street and she made another guy move his truck, didn't tell him that he was not special. Once I got the propane that young man was very pleasant and polite, but someone needs to put up signage about the parking and someone should have a talk with that young woman about how she speaks to customers. The 4 star is because of the other two employees, particularly the young man at propane. If I had based the star on the young woman's treatment it would have been no stars,”

“Thank goodness for Avis. My car broke down and while it was in the shop, my family rented a car from here. They were reasonably priced and the car we got was a pretty nice one. Other places we looked at had nice cars too, but they were a bit pricier. We rented for 9 days and had no issues whatsoever. One thing to remember though, fill up the tank before you return the car! We did, but if you don't, your bill will be +$10 per gallon that they have to fill it. If we're ever in need of an in-town car rental again, we'll probably rent with Avis.”
