“I am a General Manager at a different location and I visit this location often. Usually in the evenings and colin is usually there. He is very friendly, helpful and the store is always clean and stocked. Every speedway needs a colin. He shows interest into his customers and how their day has been. I just wanted to show him some reconition. If you see this review colin, keep doing a great job!”

“The chicken and pizza are delicious. The prices on the take out food are very reasonable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The store is clean. It would be helpful if you can post pictures of your menu so people can see what you have. That would make it easier to call in an order. Thank you!”
“I was here last week around midnight and to my surprise was confronted with a gunman that had pulled out a semi-auto pistol and continued to unload a full clip too some kids that didn't look but fresh out of high school that had been loitering at the convenience store they had asked me for a couple of dollars and I kindly gave them $3 and headed into the store as I opened the door I held it for a lady those same kids came running by stopping her in her tracks a black car pulled up and well you know the rest! thank God no one was hurt but in my whole 36 years I had never been apart of such hellacious act! God knows I never want too be again! Lord what has come of this town! But none of this is the blame of the store just a horrendous and tragic wrong place at the wrong time scenario!”

“My favorite Speedway always clean and there food is always hot and fresh and the fountain pop is rarely out of any pop. Cashier's are always friendly. Just wish they would put breakfast sandwiches out a little earlier.”
“The checkout clerk deserves praise. Stopped in to get my son a drink and my husband a slice of pizza. These two little girls were at the front of the line paying for their snacks. One of the girls handed the cashier her piggy bank and I think she counted close to $10 in change for those girls. The line grew longer and it was a bit of a wait but it was so nice to see the kindness of the cashier towards those girls. When I got to the front she apologized for the wait (which was unnecessary) I just wanted to give her a shout out. I think her name was Hunter possibly. 100000/10 Loved the experience.”

“Meijer gas station is about 10 minutes away from where I live so I go there a lot. Especially now that the gas station down the road from me charges $9 for cigarettes now. There's also an employee there that is super friendly and sweet it makes going their kind of fun sometimes”

“I went into meijer this morning and started feeling very dizzy. I am 13 weeks pregnant and had my kiddos with me. As I was walking up to check out I almost passed out and asked a worker if I could go sit down and lost all vision on my way to sit. I immediately had a few workers helping me, one who went and bought me a juice (I think her name was Joanna) and another offering to get me water or wipes to cool me down. The woman who got me the juice stood with me, made me feel so much better because I was definitely pancaking in my head, wheeled me out in a wheelchair, and helped me get into my car. These were awesome ladies and I can not thank them enough!!”
“Currently one of my favorite locations since Quik Trip and Wawa opened brand new first in the state locations and started a price war. I get 5¢ off here and at Shell or McClure. Best price wins. They all got gas station junk food and lots of fast food restaurants at this exit off the highway. Overall I like Shell the best for fuel and station pump layout. Plenty of pumps with easier to navigate parking lot.”
“I visited the speedway located at 38th&M.L.K. late Sunday earlier Monday for a couple specific different items one of which being to reload my PayPal. I get all my items and I head to the counter to complete my transaction only to find out that the woman CSR on duty that night had only been working there 3 days and had not had any training on how to do anything except the the basic things so she done her best to accommodate my request for the reloading of my PayPal. Upon the completion of my transaction I was not able to reload my PayPal. The CSR apologize for not being able to complete my transaction fully, I did not get upset with her for not being able to complete it for me it wasn't her fault. So I picked up my items and I exited the building and just before getting ready to pull from the parking lot the CSR exited the building and headed towards my direction to inform me that she thinks she may have figured out how to complete the PayPal reload but was not for certain and asked if I would like to come back in and try which I did. So this female CSR went out of her way to make for sure that I left the store with everything I had been originally coming to get, so that's what she done! Great Job! I was going to give 5 stars if not for the fact of poor management!”

“Busy place, convenient, and nice. Unfortunately it appears the building and refrigeration units cannot keep up with high temps. It was flooded inside, making it a hazardous zone and eliminated some of the regular drink options. I actually feel bad for the workers having to deal with unacceptable working conditions, customers complaining and seriously being understaffed with such conditions.”
“I love stopping here for a drink and getting gas. The employees at the checkout are very friendly, asking if we needed help finding anything and just talking and wishing for a beautiful day. They also are quick and effecient when we stand in line to pay.”

*Cons: I do not consider any Speedy Cafe a real restaurant (food is half the quality of Casey's or Huck's). Also, the pay at the pump doesn't always work. Avoid pump 5”

“Drove a little bit off the interestate to find this gas station for super good prices and no waiting. Well worth the drive - so much easier (and safer) getting in-and-out compared to the Anderson store which is on a much smaller lot.”
