I would check into the legality of charging 4% over menu price for debit card transactions. That’s the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. I’ve grown fatigued of surprise surcharges everywhere.
I know you’re going to say paying cash is a 4% discount. But that’s not true. Paying cash just gets you menu price. And paying debit was a 4% extra surcharge.

The Widows Walk Ice Creamery
415 E Riverside Dr, ClarksvilleMy wife and I stopped by The Widow’s Walk Ice Creamery and it was exactly what you want out of a place like this. Nothing fancy, just good old fashioned ice cream in cups or cones, with a solid variety of flavors, plus the basics like sundaes and malts.
Honestly though, the setting is what makes it stand out. It’s right off the riverwalk, and you get great views of Louisville across the river. There’s also a really cool Victorian home next door that adds to the whole atmosphere.
Simple spot, done well. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re walking the riverfront and want a sweet treat with some amazing views.
