“I love the East Chicago branch. I walked in one day, I really don't use walking often, but the teller greeted me by my name. I was ecstatic and it warmed my heart. I have never had a bad interaction at this branch. They genuinely want to help. Years ago, I was offered their credit and it was amazing! Their checks are free for 65 year olds and up. They are always friendly, professional, and courteous. Even the security are welcoming, helpful, and friendly. I ❤️ my 1st Merchants East Chicago branch bank!!”

“I came here to handle an emergency check cash, and the staff were phenomenal. They were understanding and very professional. Lanier and Pricilla were super fantastic and went about and beyond to help me with my issue. I was also informed of their debit card offering, and how I can get my check deposited up to two days early. That will come in handy for my personal situation.
