“I have been with Credit Union 1 at the University of Chicago at Illinois for decades and have always found its staff professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ms.Ouissal Kerberg is in a class by herself. Over the three years that I have worked with her, she has shown those characteristics and abilities to an exemplary degree. Indeed, I believe she has been the most helpful of all these good employees. Last year a check of mine was stolen in the mails and the information washed out so that a utility check was address to a person I've never heard of for $4,900, instead of $54! Luckily, I still had the carbon of that check, and Ouissal cleared the matter up over the phone so that my money was restored in about 3 days. She has also facilitated travel plans by reporting my travel dates and destinations so that I have never had a card rejected. Once when I was in Florence, Italy and my debit card was compromised, she supplied me another debit card on the same day that I came the CU1 to ask for help. I have the highest regard for her personally and professionally.”

What impressed me lately was my positive experience lately Let me relate what happened recently at the *********** branch I opened a CD rate and handed a check and cash to ***************************,one of the employees. She went out of the office to count the cash and deposit the check I wrote and when she came back she informed me I have given her $500 more than the cash I mentioned and what to do about it I told her to put it in my checking account. I was so impressed by her honesty and integrity.. She could have not told me of the error which my husband said he was in a hurry when he counted and handed me the cash but instead ****** was honest enough to tell me of the error. I am so grateful and I want you to know you have an honest and commendable employee you should be proud of.. ****************************”

“I've been banking here at SSCFCU for probably 10 years now. The customer service is very good. But there were times when I had to stand in a long line at the drive through banking and I didn't have a car. I was so agitated by this and I did let it be known. The bankers did go out of their way to accommodate me. My only agitation now is today is Saturday May 1, 2021 and I have a deposit to make but because they are not open on Saturdays at this time, I have to wait until Monday to make a deposit. This is why I'm giving you 4 stars instead of 5. Your hours are already short during the week and your only open 3 days. It would be nice to get some Saturday service again especially when the City is opening up more at this time.”
