“Love aldis. Prices are great. Staff is used friendly. Produce is fantastic. However, I remember going as a kid and being able to grab the excess boxes that use to hold merchandise off of the counter where customers bag after check out. Kinda miss that. Oh, the other thing... My husband and I went in one evening last week and the employees were literally RUNNING around, constantly yelling into the walkies, and held a stance that my husband and I actually confused for police officer for a second. The energy the entire staff was giving as one in the ER. As though someone's life was at risk. Yo, stocking is not THAT intense. Gave five stars because these are such minor flaws but ask the employees to chill.”

“The store layout is great! The self-checkout lanes on both sides keep things moving smoothly, and if you prefer a cashier, there's usually someone available. Plus, there's a quick express checkout for just one or two items, making it super convenient for grabbing groceries without wandering through unnecessary aisles. If you're heading straight to the pharmacy, you can enter from that side too. Their sales are solid, and prices seem reasonable. There's a good selection, including a dedicated liquor aisle. While prices might be slightly higher than some other stores now and then, your overall shopping costs here are pretty manageable. For convenience and a smooth shopping flow, Meijer really stands out!”
“For the past several years, I have chosen to shop at the Sanford School Road Martins because of the outstanding service I receive every visit. The pharmacy team is fantastic, and that same level of care can be found throughout the store.
Tonight, I stopped in around 8:00 PM and Kimmy was incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond, and her genuine care for customers truly stood out.
While Martins is part of a large chain, the Sanford School Road location has the heart and service of a small-town grocery store. It’s why I gladly drive 20 minutes out of my way to shop here. Thank you, Kimmy, and the entire team for making every visit a great experience!”
“I really like this location. Very clean place and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Paw mart is one of the last local pet stores that sell feeder mice! Which is great because it saves me from having to travel to southbound. I buy a lot of feeder insects for my reptiles here as well and have never gotten dead or rotting insects in my bags. This speaks to the cleanliness of the enclosures and overall environment. Their products are always clean and alive. What more could you ask for from a pet store?!”

This Mexican supermarket is one of my favorites! They have a fantastic selection, and their weekend food specials are a real treat—especially the soups, which are hearty, flavorful, and perfect for a weekend pick-me-up. The store is well-stocked with authentic ingredients, making it easy to find everything you need for Mexican cooking. The only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is that it can get quite crowded on weekends, but the quality and atmosphere make it worth it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Mexican flavors!”

“This one is the closest to my home, but it's like 10 miles away. It sinks in there, and it looks like the employees don't really put stuff where they're supposed to go. You always find like a couley packet with the meat. For some reason, the produce is pretty good. The carts suck suck bad, but it's a good place to go. If you have food stamps, cause the food is cheaper at save a lot than it is at kroger walmart.So that's always good.I go there when I need to get carved.Ham lunch meat, and angel food cake, the food cake, they have their is bomb.It is so good.I really enjoy the lemon!”
“I go to dollar general a lot! Right around the corner from my house. Love it! Today though I sent my granddaughter and two of her friends down. Told them to look around I’d be there after I got dressed. Took me longer then expected. Just leaving when the girls came back. They were thrown out of the store because they were only looking around. Had no money. They didn’t argue with the person. Just left. Then the lady told me we’d talk about it later. Wow. Judging kids sad. Come to find out she’s a teacher at Concord. Wow”

“I changed from CVS to Kroger because of the poor service and have never regretted for a moment. The staff are pleasant even when you can tell they are at the end of their rope. Overall pharmacies are having a hard time keeping up with demand. If anyone needs a steady job go get you pharmancy tech certification and help ease the strain.”

“The store on N Cassopolis has been renovated and will have fresh produce beginning next weekend. Even though things were a bit messy, I was in on Saturday night, it still looked better than it had in the past.”
“I did love it however the new manager that took over a few months ago does not know how to keep up a store or help you find anything place is a disaster all the time cards full of boxes that need to be put away on the Shelf trash on the floor dangerous for people to go into and you never can find what you need is not due to covid-19 it's due to not taking my time and putting it away on the Shelf I've heard different conversations through workers about the store some have to be up at the register and the same ones have to be putting it on the Shelf but nine times out of 10 they're in the breakroom just sitting down a lot of times they hoard stuff in piles that they're going to buy it and tell you that it's not for sale and then you watch them purchase it also seemed people going out to the dumpster if I pass by certain times of the night that our workers that put items in the trash pull them out and take them home and my car we used to love to shop there what's the time we will go to the other one down the road from the store they're much nicer and so is the store when we only live one minute away from this location it's a disaster the rest of your stores are courteous kind and clean thank you for serving the community”
“My daughter was trying to buy a toy with her tooth fairy money, but she came up 2 dollars short. The angel checking is out went into her own purse and paid the difference. She didn't know that my daughter is autistic, and didn't matter that we are a different skin color, all she cared about was the happiness of a child. I offered to reimburse her, but she asked me to pay it forward. I don't know why they say grown men don't cry, and this is the least I could do to tell the tale.”

“The best prices on pop that rotates through every brand. Easy to zip in and out. You don't have to worry about what you look like. To those who say they never worry, you're a lair. The staff is always friendly and helpful especially considering working at one of these stores must be the worst because of the clientele, sometimes, want more than they deserve plus thieves abound in these stores. Are they pristine? Of course not, why would they be? If you want pristine go to Martins and pay triple if not more for your products then but do me a favor, don't complain about a store that does the most for the lower end of the socioeconomic scale...Just take your highfalutin attitude somewhere else and stop reporting the stores we need.”
“Does Dollar General always has what we need is very kind of nice in a clean store always treat people with respect even though that we live within a minute away from our Dollar General we always go to this one for the most part because we know that will be treated right and left the Clean safe store to walk into the other one on Nappanee Street is very nasty the people are nasty and not a very kind place to walk into a store is a mess so thank you so much for all that you guys do you keep the store amazing looking good and have such kind of you guys go above and beyond thank you so much again for all your kind words the store is amazing and we're grateful to have you have a blessed weekend thank you”

“This place is a Gem in Elkhart. When it comes to the hot food it’s the best I’ve ever had and I try all the Asian food within 45 min of home. 5/5 highly recommend the orange chicken and the fried rice. Honest to goodness better than koto in Mishawaka. You won’t be disappointed!”
