“I went into Hinges and Handles hoping for solutions but had my doubts! Tom had an obscure hardware piece that was just what I needed.
They have been helpful in the past dealing with Handles and Hinges, but now I will give them an opportunity to beat the big box stores that could not help.

“We were looking through the clearance flowers at Lowe's when we noticed a small flag displayed in one of the flower pots. We asked Cindy where we could find them. She walked with us to the display, but there was only one left. She took the time to scan the item number and search the inventory system. Although the system showed there were 90 in stock, they weren't where the system indicated they should be.
We appreciated that Cindy because of her diligence she found them. Atuck in the highest shelf where pesticides were stored. Thank You Cindy, for your excellent customer service.”
“Let me tell you this Lowe’s specifically has gone above and beyond for their customers!!!! Julius and Jason with the help of Madison at the return desk were able to be more understanding and helpful. Rather than shutting down a customer inquiry they listened and walked through where they did not have to, but still did. Will be making the extra time to go to a Lowe’s that cares for their customers!!!!!”

“I was at the Lowes Elkhart store yesterday and asked whether there was some kind of spray or treatment for patio cushions to deter critters. We have a lot of animal life and were leery of leaving patio cushions out. The garden dept. manager Mark came out, explained the store did not yet have a product like that currently in stock but he explained where to find it, how the outdoor section would be set up in a few weeks. He took real time to explain to a low-tech customer (me) not only about their products, but a little about how they reset for different seasons. It's nice to be treated like a human being instead of a "quick survey" taker. Mark is outstanding and rare in retail. Attentiveness has all but vanished in retail, but Mark is Old School straight-shooter customer service at its individualized best. Give him a raise.”

Home Depot associate, Kourtney, overheard our conversation and in a short time brought a bag to us that was exactly what we needed. We really appreciated that she jumped at the opportunity to help us find what we needed without us even asking for help. Thank you, Kourtney!”
“Went to the paint section where an older gentleman was extremely helpful by showing me the different kids of paint and telling me which would best suit my needs. There was a plethora of colors to satisfy any paint need. I found the books for the different colors helpful bc it gave me ideas on which color would look best in my room with the color of my sheets and decor. I also found some of the supplies for my Pinterest crafting ideas there. All in all it was an amazing trip and I only spent $100 on everything (including a step ladder). I will be back next week to get colors for my living room.”

I took one of my granddaughters in with me after I helped her build a little shelf she wanted for her room.
Then she wanted it painted.
She had a budget, and with the help of the lady behind the counter she found a smSll van if paint that was returned and gave her a great price.
I did come back and shared video if the project I helped her build.
Very good with young ambitious children who want to do something in a good way.”
