Keep Indianapolis Beautiful is an environmental and community nonprofit that does amazing work to improve the environmental health of urban ecosystems. They engage and empower citizens through group volunteer projects, usually on weekends. Their work includes picking up litter and garbage, planting trees, removing weeds, laying mulch, and stopping invasive species. Volunteers have a great time beautifying areas, and the organization provides all necessary supplies for cleanups. They create vibrant public places and help people and nature thrive. Many recommend getting involved with this organization due to its good location, purpose, and constructive community impact.
