“I attended the concert with A solo woman violinist from Germany who is world renowned, Ms. Carolin Widmann. Ms. Widmann played a violin from 1786. Strauss was played with flawless execution. I love the symphony, so honestly any selection or composer this Indianapolis, Indiana Symphony Orchestra chose to play is excellent. I was even more impressed with the second violin 5th chair rotation named for my Indianapolis North Central High School Symphony Orchestra Conductor, Mr. Richard F. Dennis. In his time he toured with Henry Mancini's orchestra as the first chair in the first ? violin.”

“Came here for an evening of music with Dave Eastman!Such a fun vibe!! The owner sang with him and had lots of fun, and the coffee was great! I also sat in the back with several friends and tried the *gourmet* PB&J. Absolutely delicious!! Also there were two beautiful lamps that I may be back to buy, all the decor in the store is available to purchase and it is beautiful. Excellent spot, will definitely be back!”

“Stopped by for some dinner with my daughter. One of only a handful of breweries that I'm aware of that are kid-family.The outside area was nice, a little too chilly for me on this visit, but others were out there by heaters. The food was good. The restaurant staff was nice even when I clearly hadn't been there before and asked a dumb question. Bar staff was friendly as well. Only had one beer and it was pretty good.Will have to try them again on another trip.”

“Tinker House was the perfect location for our Highgarden Real Estate Holiday Party for the second year in a row! Our agents and employees loved the venue just as much as last year - ranging from the very friendly staff, the beautiful venue itself, and surplus of parking available. Miranda helped us coordinate the entire event and she was so sweet and communicative! They also provided a list of caterers and Indy Fresh Catering was absolutely delicious. Overall, a 10/10 experience once again!”

“What a wonderful stay at a quiet, beautiful place in Indianapolis. I was traveling alone to see my daughters play at Marian University. Crystal greeted me when I arrived. She is super sweet and made sure i had a wonderful stay. This stay felt safe. Everything I could have needed was in the room including toiletries, and snacks. The bed was soft and comfortable and smelled amazing. I plan to stay here again on future trips to Indianapolis.”

“This is probably the nicest hotel I've had the pleasure of being a guest at. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The industrial-modern architecture and design are very appealing. From what used to be an old Coca-Cola bottling factory to what it is now is truly amazing to see. The coffee shop is great. The restaurant is truly amazing as well. We ordered 10 different menu items to my pure delight. I was happy dancing and singing songs to the food!Nearby activities: There's a good food court building across the street called The Garage.The bowling alley across the street is so much fun! It's mini pins. Great bar as well.There are several walking distance restaurants nearby.Walkability: We walked to a German restaurant one night.There are several bars and shops and restaurants within walking distance.”

“Best engineer in town in my opinion. Best place to record. Been to many other studios in the city. Mitch is the fastest by a long shot, and also has the ears of a producer. I’ve done 6 or 7 albums here and each one is a blast. They also have great recording gear, ask em about it!”

“This store is wonderful, the employees are so nice and kind. The lady at the front desk gave me and my family a backstage tour on the parts section and she also turned on the droid factory for us. We got some custom parts and B2 battle droids and both are great! Highly recommend great place!”

“This place indeed has pottery to paint but also you can make a glass fusing craft, sign art, or a candle. The options are flabbergasting.Another fun option is to have them host a birthday party. I chose to have my daughter’s 9th birthday party at Pottery By You. They did a great job and kept the kids engaged with their projects. The area was clean and organized (for an art studio). I honestly didn’t know if I made the right decision going with a ceramic painting party for this age group but again the employees are attentive and help out. The communication before hand, during, and after (once the pottery has been through the kiln) was thorough and appreciated. I have no regrets. The kids enjoyed the experience and I would do it again.”

“I visited this venue, and it was AMAZING. I don't know if they cook the food that was served at the National Kidney Foundation Gala, but it was SOOOOOO GOOD. The aesthetic of it is a whole vibe. You could use this venue for so many different reasons.”

“I attended a conference at the Indy Convention Center the last 4 days. Stayed at the JW Marriott. High Velocity is located in that hotel. It became my main eating place during my stay. The food is very good and moderately priced. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the short rib tacos. The service was excellent. I highly recommend High Velocity for those staying at the JW Mariott in Indianapolis.”

“My daughter's wedding was here and it's a very cool place. Old school, rustic, that whole vibe. However........ The metal chairs they provided are very uncomfortable. Numerous people complained about them. So if there's any way they could get new chairs this place is perfect.”

“Canal337 and the Thomas Caterers team were both absolutely wonderful the space is SO beautiful and the view of the canal is one of a kind. The team were on top of everything day of and dealt gracefully with my abundance of emails with questions in the months leading up to our wedding. I’m so sad that Canal337 is changing ownership but hopefully more people will get to get married in the beautiful space someday. PS Get the carrot soufflé!!!!”

“The facility was very nice. Was there for the Indy Home Show. Be prepared if you ever go to the Home Show to be harassed by vendors the moment you walk in. You will not even get a chance to look without being constantly bothered by vendors. But, the facility was really nice.”

“My husband and I got married at Mavris on November 4, 2023 and it was a dream (perfect weather, beautiful space, delicious food, great bartenders). Our guests still rave about the food and the event space is amazing! The only thing keeping us from leaving a 5-star review is that unfortunately Mavris has been having a staff turnover problem and this impacted our experience. If we could go back in time, we would still use Mavris however we would hire our own coordinator to be available for the Rehearsal and Day-of. Unfortunately our Venue Coordinator (Taylor) assigned to us was not very attentive to detail. I had to run our rehearsal because she kept providing incorrect information to our parents and bridal party, including the order of the bridal party for the processional despite having it on paper in front of her. She was late and MIA almost the entire day of the wedding. Our wedding did not have a lot of moving parts for her to keep track of so it was astonishing that basic things (like steamers in the getting ready suites) was something she couldn't provide for us despite requesting it in advance. She also kept communicating wrong information to our family and bridal party as well as not setting up everything per our diagrams and documents with the venue. In addition, we still have not received our security deposit back and it has been almost 2 months since our event. (We do have confirmation we were to expect the deposit back/ there were no incidentals from our event). Our coordinator no longer works with Mavris which is great for future weddings, but make sure you have someone ready to advocate for your wants on the day-of to remove a LOT of stress from your day and provide a more seamless experience than what we encountered.”
