“We were having a lot of trouble with republic branch in Charleston road, and I held off on leaving a review until yesterday when Karen stepped in—yes, you heard that right. She came out from behind the desk and actually assisted my husband with his business account.
For the first time in a long while, he left that branch happy. Before this, I dreaded him having to go in. The tellers had been dismissive, and when they did engage, it felt overly controlling—making decisions on his account without even taking the time to clarify with him. When he asked for a branch manager, there always seemed to be an excuse—closing early or reasons they couldn’t assist.
He was on the verge of pulling his account entirely because of these experiences.

“Been with L&N Credit Union for in excess of 30 Years, they have always been more then fare and several times returned fees for errors I made. Much more cooperative then ANY bank I have delt with.”
“Went here because we needed a check cashed and retail stores couldn't. We restarted an account in my husbands name and deposited the check. Although they did tell us the check would be ready by 9 am the next day. They put a hold on the check untill the next Friday and this was like a Wednesday, so a 10 day hold. But we have been using this account since the check was deposited in it and haven't experienced any issues. And it's nice they don't charge a min required amount or banking fee for a standard checking account. Especially in a day where local banks and online banking are competitors. And online banking services are so easily accessible. This bank is keeping up with society and doing a good job at providing the services they offer”
