We were greeted immediately upon walking in and directed to the kid section.The very nice gentleman had us measured, helped us get the shoes on, was patient when my child had a meltdown, and checked out all in 20 minutes! “I own a pair of handmade custom work boots. I’ve had lots of foot problems and these boots were life changing for me. I recently needed the first repairs to be made on them and I chose Gino’s. I am so thankful for Gino! He is a consummate professional, VERY personable and easy to talk to, and in my opinion he is cut from the cloth of the classic cobbler. Gino told me my boots would be ready in one week and they were! Not only that but I had expected to pay about 50% more than what I did. I got tired of buying cheap goods repeatedly every year or two so I saved up my money and spent $700 on these work boots. I also own a pair of calfskin brogues from England and I can’t wait to wear the soles down so I can bring them to Gino!”
“My husband was needing a suit for son’s wedding and he is a tall man. We had been to a few popular chain stores and were not able to get anything to fit him. It was suggested that we go to Al’s and check there and since we were out of town looking decided to at least try. Al’s was able to help and got him taken care of great customer service and knowledgeable about what they are doing. Family business and amazing service and good price thank you so much”

“I went in today because I had just bought a pair of shoes somewhere else and they just didn’t fit right, so I was going to see about getting a different type of shoe. Instead of selling me on a pair of shoes I didn’t need, Tyrone helped me with a free foam insert, and taught me a different way to lace my shoes that would help them fit better. It’s a good store with a good selection, but the fact that they were willing to help me out even if it meant I didn’t spend money says so much about them. They’ve made a customer out of me for life with that. Definitely check the store out!”

“I've been a few times, and like all thrift stores, some visits have been better (for me) than others. It's a great size - big enough to have a large selection, but it's not overwhelming. Merchandise is clean, well organized, and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.”
“You know this place has been there since I was a child and I'm 57 now it's fantastic little shop they can repair any kind of shoes in this day and age it's hard to find anyone that can repair and refurbish a pair of shoes. I have a 15 year old set of Allen Edmonds dress shoes brogues and I love them dearly and they were able to reheat them and resole them. If you had shoes you want repaired this is the place you want to go”

The associate with the number 070922 that rang me up at the register was AMAZING! She helped me pick out scrubs and was so helpful in putting them back! “Came in today on a whim to look for new shoes and had my eyes set on a pair of Hokas, however, the brand itself never really has any cute colors for men. I’m an RN and I NEED something that will allow me to be on my feet all day but I WANT something that will pop/stand out haha. I almost left the store empty handed but I ended up looking in the CloudGo section and found the most beautiful pair of men’s shoes ever! The image is a stock photo, but you get the idea. Anyways, I tried them on and the size they had in display was ever so slightly snug so I sat and waited for the single employee I could see to work his magic and make his way to me. He was apologetic for the time it took and immediately jumped in to get me a size that worked better! The kindness, attentiveness, and friendliness this man radiated was infectious (plus he was a cutie!) and I will for sure come back to this store the next time I need to scratch an itch and get a cute pair of shoes :)”

“A great selection of work boots. They had size double E ( EE or wide) for my feet. The employee there was kind and helpful in helping me search for boots my size. The best part is they stay open a lot later which is a huge plus for construction workers getting out of 5:30 pm. Next time I am in Indianapolis, I know this is my go to store.”
