“The front desk lady was horrible person hung the phone up on my 14 year old asking for cough drops. then we go down there and tell me I don’t have a service dog because it’s a first time at a hotel and she gets anxiety when we’re gone for a long time the dog was barking when we went to the mall and like the mall a lot right across the street then my daughter was going to use her own money for candy and she asked me is it change because she wasn’t about to take it until I said why is there a problem! it is friday 6pm the 29th who ever this ladie is I recommend firing we already get a family discount because my brother worked for 25 years at a Hilton”
“I have stayed in hundreds of hotels whether for business or personal solo travel and this one was definitely a favorite of mine. All staff there are very kind, efficient, and dedicated to excellent customer service- Stephen, Anne, Mary, and manager Pritesh. They do have an award for best guest service for a reason:)
There are many things that made the room special, which were very high attention to detail- the kitchen with everything you need for cooking makes you feel
right at home, dishwasher tablets, a cute summer pitcher, a nice board above the desk to post/hang things, a side table to eat while watching tv, purell wipes near the remote- just nice finishing touches to make it special. The bed was very comfortable and had great pillows. They had free Costa coffee, free laundry, and a snack room fully stocked with again- thoughtful things people would need for travel and great variety of options.
The staff were always cleaning when I was there and housekeeping did a great job.
If you are planning to stay in Merriville, I recommend this be your hotel choice. I know there are about 10 other options in the same area, but this one is by far the best!

“During my recent stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Merrillville, IN, I encountered a mix of experiences that left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the affordability of the accommodations was a clear positive. The pricing was competitive, and it's hard to overlook the value offered for the price paid. This aspect alone might appeal to budget-conscious travelers looking for a decent place to rest.However, my stay was not without its disappointments. One of the more concerning issues was the bath drainage backup, a problem that can significantly dampen the comfort and convenience of any guest's stay. Additionally, the towels provided for showering were notably small, which might seem like a minor issue but is a detail that contributes to the overall guest experience.Comparing this particular Country Inn & Suites to others I've visited in different states, I couldn't help but notice a lack of the upscale feel I've come to expect from this brand. This discrepancy was a bit disheartening and, in a way, left me somewhat upset with the place.While I appreciate the good price and recognize the value it presents, my experience has led me to conclude that I would rather pay an extra $20-$30 for a stay that meets all my expectations in terms of comfort, amenities, and overall experience. As such, despite the positives, I don't foresee myself returning to this particular location in the future.”
“Great Stay at room 248. I've stayed at a few cheap hotels in the same area and they are no-where near as good as FairBridge Inn. House keeping actually checks on you every morning, room was just fine no complaints. Will definitely stay here again!!”

She was so kind, and went out of her way to make our stay great, the room was great, she even allowed us to say after we checked out because my daughter was begging to still swim, and the pool was awesome! “You get what you pay for indeed!! Still, good value for the buck. No complaints as far as the room. Very basic but clean. Quiet facility. Somewhat depressed area so think twice if you want to go for a walk - kinda dicey. I’d come back

“Add one of those bags you buy at the store that you can reuse I have silverware in it and some hand warmers and feet warmers the cleaning guy took it I had my own tile that was not white like their child it was a light brown really big one like a beach towel the cleaning man took that”

“I stay here when I need a motel great ppl and very friendly..Seems like they are updating second level ..the riff raff who used to stay there is gone which makes it a much better motel..Rooms: The rooms have gotten much better than before..many upgrades and I'm sure they are still working to improve the stay hereIf have a issues front staff will address it if not then first thing in morningNearby activities: Close to areas that support different activitiesSafety: Cameras all around property ..never had a issue with feeling safe here and I've stayed here alotFood & drinks: Close to different food from Wendy's to Chinese hooter and a wing house”

“Hotel was nice. Staff was helpful and understanding when me key stopped working. Hot tub was wonderful, pool was cold but still nice.Rooms: Room was clean. Big enough for me a 7 year old child.Nearby activities: About 5 minutes from the mall and several restaurants.Food & drinks: Free breakfast in the morning. It has multiple options and was delicious.”
