“We’ve stayed here for 3 multi-day trips to visit family in St. John and it has been perfect every time! The room is always clean, the desk staff and housekeepers always greet us with a smile, and we have all the necessities when we arrive. The bonus this time was finding out that they have really nice grills and a covered patio on the side! I’m an air bnb guy, because of the personal care they give their customers. That being said, we’re going to stop looking for bnbs when we come to the area, because this hotel is perfect for us and the rate seals the deal.Rooms: Perfect size and I love having the kitchen. Always cleaned well!”

“During my recent stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Merrillville, IN, I encountered a mix of experiences that left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the affordability of the accommodations was a clear positive. The pricing was competitive, and it's hard to overlook the value offered for the price paid. This aspect alone might appeal to budget-conscious travelers looking for a decent place to rest. However, my stay was not without its disappointments. One of the more concerning issues was the bath drainage backup, a problem that can significantly dampen the comfort and convenience of any guest's stay. Additionally, the towels provided for showering were notably small, which might seem like a minor issue but is a detail that contributes to the overall guest experience.Comparing this particular Country Inn & Suites to others I've visited in different states, I couldn't help but notice a lack of the upscale feel I've come to expect from this brand. This discrepancy was a bit disheartening and, in a way, left me somewhat upset with the place. While I appreciate the good price and recognize the value it presents, my experience has led me to conclude that I would rather pay an extra $20-$30 for a stay that meets all my expectations in terms of comfort, amenities, and overall experience. As such, despite the positives, I don't foresee myself returning to this particular location in the future.”

“I have been trying to reach the c general manager or owner for almost 3 months now to settle a window I didn't mean to break but yet i have not heard back from them out is rather frustrating, other than this incident the room was nice and the staff was nice they just need to update the device that you door your card into in order to unlock the outside door instead of having to walk all the way around the building in the cold to get inside”

“Great Stay at room 248. I've stayed at a few cheap hotels in the same area and they are no-where near as good as FairBridge Inn. House keeping actually checks on you every morning, room was just fine no complaints. Will definitely stay here again!!”

“Lobby hot, front stuff not helpful, room? Where do I start…smelled awful, dirty, from the floors, bed cover, lamp shades, you name it, it was nasty. The smell of smoke (in a nonsmoking room/facility) and mold was terrible, cigarette burn marks on the toilet seat. Door had big dents all over front and back. We couldn’t stay due to the smell making my kids sick. The guest down the hall said I would try trading rooms. We did 3x and they ended up giving new guest the same room their kids were checked into and the people walked in on them in the middle of the night. Other family of mine were there with us. No air in two of their rooms. Also very nasty and dirty. Never received not a dime of my fee back. Was told I could have rewards. They can keep them won’t be staying at any of these facilities again. Plus website says pool and gym. Neither do they have. Fyi.. worst experience ever!”

“Ok first and foremost...FOR THE PRICE...this was a good stay. There are idiosyncrasies which make me chuckle, but at the end of the day I know people are all doing their best and are overworked to the bone. The room is clean. Mine was. I used to be a flight attendant and stayed in 1000's of hotels. My room was clean. The tv worked as did the air and shower. The floors felt like they were going to give out and creeked a lot. Things were old but repainted. To me it was fine. Breakfast was weird. The cereal won't come out of the cereal dispenser very well. I wonder if they prefer it that way to save money on cereal. The milk was in a stainless steel dispenser and it was sour. I spit my cereal out. The waffles were good. The biscuits and gravy fine. Only butter for toast. No jam no peanut butter. Decaf is put in regular coffee dispensers. Just pick the lower one. It's darker which means it's not the decaf lol no yogurt either. Or fruit. The people working there were super nice. Day and night crew all were so friendly. Overall some burps but for what I payed it's things I can overlook. Clean room and good people.”

“Pros- the microwave and and ice machine worked 100% of the time. CongratsCons- nothing else worked consistently. The lights next to the beds would work for a minute and then stop. Every few minutes they would turn back on. Tv back light was very dead. Channels 1-4 had no volume. The cable tv looked like it was pirate cable. Bed had several different stains. The paint job in room 318 is embarrassing. Two shades of brown on the wall with the bed is a joke.. carpet had several burn marks. Ac was not working”

“Despite what everyone else says, I love staying here. Yes the rooms are not the prettiest, but its a great deal if your just staying for a few nights. Ive been at this location 3 times now with no problems except for 1 when the TV was broken in one of the rooms. I do feel safe here but i also carry a gun with me =)”
