“I was in the store in Michigan City on Monday the 4th of May. The store manager that was on duty (I can’t remember her name - that’s my fault) was simply amazing! I took my grandson in for shoes and we were in there for over an hour. She was helpful from the moment we walked in the door! So patient and kind! She must have pulled a million pairs of shoes down for that kid to try on! She was knowledgeable and a pleasure for us to work with!”

“My favorite place to buy clothes for my daughter. They always have great deals and the staff are always very helpful and pleasant. The last time I went there with my 5 year-old she was pretending like she was also an employee and they even played along. It was so cute and I was able to do a little shopping while she was being entertained. I absolutely adore this store!”

“I want to give the HIGHEST praise to Takeyah from adidas customer service—her compassion, professionalism, and problem-solving skills turned a deeply frustrating situation into a moment of real gratitude.
While I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Aurora adidas store, where team members Josh and Selma showed little interest in helping me resolve a serious issue (including failing to offer contact info for a district manager and dismissing my concerns about a missing item), Takeyah stood out as a shining example of what customer service SHOULD look like.
From the moment she answered the phone, Takeyah was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping me—even though the issue didn’t stem from her store. She listened with care, didn’t pass judgment, and immediately assured me she would escalate the matter to the appropriate team. And she followed through. She didn’t know who I was. She didn’t know I’d be writing this review. She was simply doing what she believed was right.
That’s the kind of integrity and heart that deserves recognition, promotion, and praise. Employees like Takeyah should not go unnoticed. She represents the adidas brand beautifully—not just when someone is watching, but especially when no one is.
I sincerely hope adidas uses this as a training opportunity. Josh and Selma from the Aurora store could learn a lot from Takeyah’s approach. No customer should be made to feel dismissed or stranded—especially after driving hours and spending their hard-earned money.

“A great location for coats, socks, and mid-low priced hiking boots. However, what completely bamboozled me, is that the company all about skiing doesn't have ski masks! Now my face is cold and we're all just a little disappointed. Also a weirdly small selection of hats. Amazing selection of socks though. Nice long merino wool socks.”

“I went to the Nike store in Michigan City because I needed a good pair of running shoes and didn’t want to waste time. Harry helped me right away. He clearly knew the Nike running shoes lineup and explained the differences in a way that was fast and easy to follow. He listened to what I actually needed and pointed me to the right option without pushing anything extra. Very professional, very efficient. I was in and out of the Nike store in under five minutes with the right shoes. Honestly, Harry made the whole stop painless and worth it.”

“I was in the store for the first time ever in 06/2025. I found what I was looking for—water shoes/aqua socks. I also found a 3pk of socks that I purchased. I ended up loving the socks in the 3pk. I had a friend in Michigan City on 09/28/25; asked her if she would go buy me more (I live in the Chicagoland area). My friend suggested I call first. I did. Spoke to Jordan; she knew EXACTLY what I was looking to purchase. None in stock. She informed me that North Riverside and Joliet location had the socks in stock. Jordan went above & beyond in assistance with me! I am/was most appreciative!”
