“Hirschs is like stepping back in time. Friendly staff. In house butcher with custom cuts and best chicken salad. Quality place with small town feel. Not walmart. Prices higher but quality is better and staff is treated fairly.”
“I stopped in for some lunch at their deli, they have hot food and sandwiches made to order. The food is fresh and a great change from fast food restaurants. These local owned grocery stores are getting to be fewer and hard to find so please take the time to shop your locally owned stores.”

“This store and job is like no other that I've ever taken on. The team members and management staff actually care and treat each other as family. I accepted a position as one of their "customer service leads aka shift manager" with the Princeton store last June of 2022. By far, this has been the best job I could have been offered. I actually enjoy going to work again. They offer adequate training for each individual, including myself and all positions. You don't take your work home with you. They don't allow it. They want you to have your family time because it's just as important as your work time. I could go on and on, but I think you get my meaning. With any company, the management staff can make or break a team member. These two, my AM and Store Manager, arqe the best you could ask for. As someone who lives with a disability that affects my life differently from day to day They have been there with their support and encouragement. This makes me want to give this job all I can and do the best job possible. I'm very thankful, more than they'll ever know, to have been recruited and granted this opportunity. “You have such a great bakery all of their bakery goods are fantastic I love their smoked meat they have such a large variety of cheese and of raw meat and they just have so many things in one store it's just like you don't have to go anywhere else they've got Walmart meat all the heck I just love you over there once a month”
“I LOVE the variety in this store! There's so much more than what you'd expect from a Dollar General, that when I first walked in, I was gob-smacked. I didn't know where to start! “Normal DG shopping experience. This is a brand new store so it was ultra clean and organized. Some shelves are still sparse. Cashier was very friendly and efficient.”

“Complain all you want, my Walmart near me is ten times worse. I was here because the rvparky.com app says that this is the only place in the area that tolerates overnight parking in their lot. I'm in a Sprinter van that's converted into an RV and I like free parking. I also like clean restrooms and free wifi. All of that was experienced today at Walmart in Princeton!I was able to pick up a few snacks and drinks for the fridge as well. On a weeknight at 8:30pm, plenty of open lanes for self checkout.The parking lot was tidy and I found a quiet and level spot to spend the night without being disturbed.[Review 19664 overall - 47 in Indiana - 636 of 2023.]”

“All small towns are starting to get a Dollar General. This is great as it has several basics if you find yourself in a pinch. Some groceries, some over the counter medicines, clothing and household items. Thankful for our little Dollar General in Mt. Carmel!”

“The store seemed like it was going through a clean up of some sort so there was stuff strewn everywhere. The alarm was going off for about 10 minutes. The cashier was helpful and ring up my items hastily. Overall, not too bad of an experience. Wasn't that great either, but I didnt expect a massage or anything while walkin' out.”
“Walmart in Princeton is awesome.. if for any reason you need assistance they are more than happy to help however the Walmart in Evansville... Now that's another thing! They treat you horribly take your cart cancel your purchases before you can even ring everything up... Then the store manager does nothing to fix the problem.. so sad”
“I work here on nights stocking. I am not making this review just bc I work there. It is the cleanest dollar store I have ever been in. They have tons of items. There are not carts blocking so many iles u cant shop like some of them. We try our best to keep it clean and organized. If we are out of something, its bc it was not delivered. No one in the store orders items. Corporate orders stuff based on what we sell. I can tell u, I stock things on weds and by Friday its almsot gone. Crazy how busy we are. I live in Fort Branch and I am so thankful we sell groceries. I dont have to drive all the way to princeton or haubstaut to get bread. Please if u have had a bad experience in the past. Please give us another shot. The past 3 months we have done so much and we try our best to make our customers happy. If u come in, please fill out the survey on ur receipt. Tells how ur experience went... we love to hear how we are doing and hopefully we meet ur expectations as best as we can. Just please understand it's hard to find people to work right now. It's hard to fill shelves and wait on customers. We want to make sure u are not waiting to long to be check out. We are trying hard to make sure shelves are stocked up as best we can. “This Dollar General is well kept and really clean. I haven’t had any issues with the staff. Things are a lot more expensive now. Anyways, it’s a good dollar general and I go there at least once a week!”
