    “It's a Dollar General. But this one is well maintained. The shelves are stocked, the merchandise is presented well, and unlike many Dollar stores there isn't a lot of product in the middle of the aisles in carts waiting to be stocked. And the folks at the register were pleasant. No brown sugar though, which considering they have powdered sugar was odd.”

    “Stracks is my second favorite place to shop in town. They are all very friendly except for one random lady in the deli. The food is always fresh and if you use the app, you can use a lot of coupons on there and save a decent amount of money.”

    “Very friendly customer service. I have been here several times and every cashier or stock person has greeted me or asked me how my day was started a conversation. It felt like they enjoyed being there even though they were working. My only gripe would be the clutter every where from stock needing to be put away. It would be great if the DG stores did their stock at night when the customers weren't there”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
