    “I'm going to give it a five star I only have minor complaint. There are times when the pricing at register does not match what the sign says however when I am sick and in need of items the DG is always here and there's always something to get in case of emergency. Please don't expect the people at the DG to cater to your every requests though... they are understaffed and cannot always accommodate every persons needs ASAP. They all do their best to help and they work hard to make sure we have emergency items for ourselves and our pets in times of need. I had an interaction with a guy at the register today and we laughed even though I came in for cold medicine and wasn't feeling the best. There are some very good people who work there.”

Some items i can find at Walmart or Kroger for cheaper, but alot of these items you can't find at those stores either. Found quite a few items here that I would usually have to order online. Bought 8 items and paid $91. For better quality, be prepared to pay higher prices.”

Overall a solid local grocery store. My only complaint is that the entire area needs an update and I wish they would go back to 24 hours.”

I also have memberships to other similar stores and what I really like is: Shorter lines, no free samples crowding the aisles, less people, good quality foods and options, cheaper gas, and conveniently located by me. What I don’t really like: Rarely cashiers, so it’s usually self check-out, no samples so I can’t try bulk items before buying them, not many gluten free snack options, and produce isn’t great”

    “I love shopping at Westfield Kroger, I find myself shopping here more often than other grocery chains because of the personalized service. I always go to self check, and I can count on there being a familiar face. My favorite cashier is Parool. I see how personable she is with everyone. I see her taking time to talk to the moms and make the kids feel noticed. She’s so helpful, and I see her as the beacon of friendliness and light. I don’t often see others taking so much pride in making the customers feel welcome in today’s world. If she’s not there, I always go and get in line on the other side so I can say hi to Ina, she recognizes a lot of customers and interacts with them with her amazing warm smile. Kroger thank you for employing, warm genuine souls.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
