Menards is a hardware store with a huge selection of almost anything needed for home and side jobs, often for relatively cheap prices. Customers love it as their go-to store. The grocery department has amazing deals, beating other retailers, with an expanding selection and simply great pizza. However, service is inconsistent. While some employees are very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, many are perceived as high school kids or young adults who may not know products or act bothered. The older cashiers are frequently described as very unfriendly, leading some to avoid their lanes. Despite this, many remain loyal, spending significant amounts there.
