While I sometimes wish they had a bit more variety, the fact remains that you can find everything you need here for a healthy and affordable meal.Aldi's might just bring some fresh competition to Chesterton. The staff here is consistently friendly and helpful, making your shopping experience a breeze. Check-out is speedy, and there are never any long lines. The store is consistently clean, and if you need assistance, you can easily find an associate to help you out.With ample parking and a great location (formerly the old Kmart for those familiar with the area), Aldi's in Chesterton is a real gem. It's become my go-to place for groceries, and I'm sure it'll become yours too!”

“I don't go here without checking the app first. You have to check out the weekly deals...clip them first, and then when you enter your phone number at the register, it applies. After so much spent, you can also earn rewards. Those can then be applied to free items, money off your total bill, etc. It's not my go-to for everything on my shopping list, but some deals are definitely worth the trip!”

“This location - Chesterton has a big selection of Gluten free items; crackers, pretzels, cake mixes, and alot more. They have 2 aisles devoted to GF. It's fantastic! They also have a DIY peanut grinder to make all natural peanut butter and it is easy to use and delicious ?”

“I love Meijer who doesn't! You can find everything in there groceries, bed and bath, kitchen supplies, car, toys, health and beauty. They really do have everything very similar to Walmart but the crew that works there in general is friendlier. It must be in the training. The cashier that checked us out was so friendly, very sweet young lady. I will definitely be back!”

“I love this place. It's open 7 days a week from 8am -10pm. Mark is always working and always really friendly and helpful.They have a lot of stuff other places don't have, tons of drinks, snacks and frozen foods.They JUST remodeled this location and it is even better. “Jannsen’s is a staple of the community for several reasons. First and foremost, upon arriving in Beverly Shores, either by train or auto, it is what one sees immediately prior to entering the town. As such, people often stop by for some hiking, bird watching, beaching, soft serve (weather permitting), or other supplies of that nature.The Dunes Mart is always aptly stocked and staffed by genuinely nice, yet thoroughly professional, people and I cannot recall a single unpleasant experience while shopping here in well over a decade. Although it would appear Jannsen’s keeps one of nearly everything on their shelves, except for blue pens ?. Other than that this Mart is excellent.And last, but in all honesty the most significant, starting the day with a cup of Sandra C’s regular blend - and one of Henze’s Bakery’s finest - is quite hard to top. Whether you’re from the area, or just passing through, I’d suggest recharging at the Dunes Mart.”

So we deleted it which prompted someone to come over and assist us. We told them the issue and after some time, they came back and said they were making it right, and changed the price to $24.99. Amazing customer service and dedicated to "making it right" I love this Meijer.”
