“Frantic on a Saturday, but the staff was amazing. Parking is nuts there. We stop in as we pass thru the area. We don't have a TJ in our area and sometimes you just need their things! Great gluten free selection.”

“Produce is amazing, people are great, actively prevents you from buying hyper processed things and actually feels rewarding to buy healthier (and cheaper!) Options I'm in love with this store haha”

“Prices are rising, but still the cheapest place for many items. It's nice not having to worry about app signups or coupons. Just have to remember to bring a quarter for your cart.”

“The store staff are so friendly and prompt. I forgot to get my Instacart order on time and they were so understanding. I felt like a jersey, but their prompt, friendly service made my day. Thank you!!I've consistently had great, friendly service here, too!”

“Aldi has a good selection of gluten free breads. Their produce is pretty good, and some of their store brand frozen are really good. I'm not a big fan of their dairy products, but they're okay. I like the experience of shopping there, and I especially like the checkout. It's fast and efficient. Bring your own bags or buy them, and fill them up yourself. I just wish there was one in Las Vegas. But I have Trader Joe's, which, except for gf bread, is even better.”

“What a difference a location makes. We stopped going to the Avon location after 13 years because of the terrible customer service. We had guests coming, so we decided to check out the Zionsville store. It's easily 4 times the size of the Avon location with a great selection. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.”

“Absolutely the greatest Grocer in town! Walmart and Kroger lack adequate staff and iga is nasty, overpriced, and sells expired products much akin to what you'd get from the caring center. ALDI on the other hand is extremely affordable $100 gets close to a cart load, and I have never got anything expired, moldy, or grey in color from this store. It smells very clean and taken care of in here as well unlike stinky IGA. And the cashiers are friendly and very good at their jobs. I always have a great experience shopping here”

“African store with items at very reasonable prices. Often have sales but you need to follow them on Instagram. Needs a wheelchair ramp in front of the store for easy movement for challenged persons or for your shopping cart. Great place with goodies all the same”

“I live in walking distance, they regularly save me the gas and headache of driving to brownsburg to pick up a few things. The employees are nice and have been helpful the few times I’ve had to ask for something.”

“The store is clean and it looked like it was recently remodeled. I stop here on my way home from the airport. They have a lot of self checkouts and an employee on site to assist you. I was in and out pretty fast.I did walk the store and notice they had lots of sales and clearance items.I'll keep stopping by when I come by. This store is out of my way but if I was local it be my one stop shop.”

“I have found the place to get my Christmas tamales! It's Tienda Morelos on Michigan Avenue. This one is called Tienda Morelos 6, because apparently there are at least five other Tienda Morelos in Indy? That's a lot of Tienda Morelos. You see: Tamales are very important to me -- they are a part of my DNA. So finding great tamales in Indy is very exciting, indeed. I happened upon Tienda Morelos because I was visiting a restaurant next door to this one. I popped in and found an amazing (although small) store that sells tamales and also pan dulce, fresh produce, chicharrones, packaged foods and more. All of the signs are in Spanish and everyone speaks Spanish, which is a great sign when you're looking for great Mexican food. The best tamales come from places where the people selling the tamales don't speak English, I've found. To buy the tamales, you need to pay at the front register first. You tell them how many tamales you want, and then you pay for that number. They give you a little slip of paper with the number of tamales you paid for. Then, you take your piece of paper to the tamale counter, and you pick which flavor of tamale you want, and the quantity. I got one pork and one chicken. They were both amazing: lots of masa but also lots of juicy meat. Not too much sauce, but also not dry. These are the best tamales I've eaten in Indianapolis so far. Tamales are just a small portion of the offerings at Tienda Morelos. They have a full panaderia in the store, plus a carniceria and other grocery items. The place is super small and slightly cramped, but the people are friendly and helpful, so it's a nice little place to shop after you've loaded up on tamales.”

“Local low-price ??️ grocery store, with expensive name brands generally replaced by inexpensive chain store brands.Loaves of sliced bread ? we're going around $1.19; but recent inflation seems to have knocked their cheapest white up to $1.49, and cheapest wheat loaves up to $1.69. (August, 2022). $1.59 for 1920 calories in blue cheese dressing (probably their Ranch is similar.) Cheap house brand cream cheese indistinguishable from Philadelphia, imo. Iced honey buns cheaper than well known brands. Etc. Whether or not someplace like Aldi might be a little better, this place is still cheap, even with obvious recent food price inflation. The Boardwalk soft drinks are generally quality, knock off, obvious imitations of more famous soda brands; I doubt many could consistently discern differences in blind taste tests, for the *majority* of these imitation brands. The sugary knock-off drinks are usually $0.99 per 2 liter bottle, or ~1000 calories per dollar. (Edit August 2022: Boardwalk drinks recently increased to $1.25 ?)They have basic bathroom/kitchen/laundry type items too, and a few miscellaneous quality-yet-cheap items they've bought up somewhere to sell; but it's obviously a grocery-food store in emphasis. No deli selling prepared menu items, btw.Nothing but good experiences with managers and salespeople at this location, in my many visits. The store is somewhat annoyingly concerned about shoplifting, and forcing customers to leave their bags on a front counter when entering. (NB: Please think twice before planning to commit armed robbery on this corner; it's already known to be a popular place to rob, so security and cameras will be watching for that ahead of time, etc.)”

“This Kroger has the best customer service. Especially from a gentleman Mr. Tucker. He was very pleasant when helping us choose our meat for a special occasion. He went above and beyond and we appreciated it so much!”

“I usually have to drive out of the way to Castleton or 38th and Lafeyette to get international ingredients at a reasonable price. However Google maps suggested this store and i was so happy they had what i was looking for! Saved me an hour trip. I guess the store opened up around 2020-2021. The shopkeeper was friendly, store was clean. I was surprised at the variety and number of items that was neatly packed into the shop. Pricing also seemed reasonable too. Awesome to have a place like this on the northwest side of Indy.”

“Curbside pickup at Kroger has room for growth in that communication during order picking could be improved, but overall I have enjoyed my three experiences using the service…. So, maybe there are Kroger parent company issues with how orders are picked, but overall Kroger pickup should work for most everyone.”

“Perspective is everything and even though this store has a low average rating, they came in clutch when I needed them. It was the day of my daughter's graduation open house and the bulk of my decorating hinged on helium balloons. I had purchased a helium tank from Michael's for $38.99 and it wasn't working. I pulled up to Walmart in a frenzy and was able to purchase the same tank (same amount of helium) WITH string and balloons included for $28.88! The one from Michael's cost more and came with nothing....it didn't even work! Did I mention that Tony the Tiger was in the parking lot doing a public appearance?! Had I not been running around like a chicken with my head cut off an hour before our party, I would've taken a photo with him. Believe what he said about Walmart.....They're great!”

“Regular customer considering I live across the street from them. Exceptional prices and recently added produce section recommend going for a quick grab versus driving all the way to Walmart or any big grocery stores.”

“I was having trouble checking out 10 mins till close and I had left my other card at home. The employees were kind enough to let me drive home and get it and then come back even though it would be 11:15. I am so thankful I was able to make my purchase tonight because the cart was full. Thank you”
