“I just want to thank Jenna at the bakery. With everything that went on last year, Lennox’s illness and COVID. I was unable to make it to see my granddaughter Esme’s on her birthday. I called the bakery to order a cake. I asked if they had balloons. Jenna said no but she would go to Dollar General and get her some. I was so touched that she would do this for a stranger.”

“I love this DG store. This location has alot of home stock and cleaning items and is bigger than the average DG store in the surrounding towns. The manager and employees I have interacted with at this Lovilla location are dedicated and helpful. They keep the store well stocked and are pretty good at greeting customers, answering their questions, and keeping aisles clear or shelves fronted and faced.”

“They have the best selections and cuts of meat. By far the best around is Charlie's sausage, regular or Italian. The brats will have you hooked-pick a flavor! He has regular, cheddar, pepper jack & jalapeño, some with pineapple and sometimes trial flavors!! You can also find local grown ground beef for sale at his store, especially around fair time.
Updated- besides his meat selection he has the lowest price in Bush Light and the larger liquor selection in Albia.”
