My 82-year-old mom was targeted in a phone scam, and the bank recognized suspicious activity and stepped in immediately. After asking the right questions and doing their investigation, they placed a hold and prevented a $9,500 wire transfer that turned out to be fraud.
Because of their attentiveness, professionalism, and quick action, my mom did not lose her money. Their employees handled the situation with care and took the time to make sure everything was safe.

She also is part of the Blue Shoebox program. She looks forward to receiving her annual box in the mail. It is filled with different items each year and offers information in an interactive way for her to learn about banking and saving money.”
“I have personally banked with GICU for over 20 years. The staff are always friendly and supportive. I have had personal and mortgage loans through them, debit and credit cards, vehicle loans, and they always have competitive rates. Whenever issues have risen, they promptly correct them. I really like the mobile app showing you your pending charges immediately online. Other banks take days to post them. It just makes it easier to track my finances for me.
