“My goal was to buy a good bottle of champagne for the New Year's holiday. I also wanted to purchase outside of the small community where I live. It was certainly worth the drive to shop at Ingersoll. I will note no one offered assistance, but I wanted straight to the area I needed and did not seek out assistance. I felt that the prices were certainly inline as well.”
“Super wonderful people here! We went in tonight late looking for fever reducer for our infant. They didn't have anything for under 2 years old, but the couple running the store gave us advice of what we could do naturally to help him. We didn't end up buying anything and they were just so sweet and helpful. Stellar service. Highly recommend this place!!”

The owner came over and offered to help me look for what I wanted and asked about the wine I love and if its good and I told him across Iowa where I moved from its a top seller and always out of stock. He told me he would get it ordered and start to stock it for me. I appreciate this so much! Great customer service even for not having it. :) We will return.”

Nice selection too, i'm sure if you're out in West Des Moines It's a good place to go for liquors. It has the typical ambiance of a liquor store. My only concern was the parking lot was iced over and no one was taking responsibility to get the sand out. I joked that I'd spend a ten bucks to get a two seen from ace hardware for the owner.”

“Stopped in on a Friday evening for dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately. Water was poured and menus were brought. We each ordered a beer while we looked over the extensive menu. They offer lunch specials. The menu was split into appetizers, noodles, rice, specialties, sushi, Japanese and kids so if you knew what you wanted you could easily find it. We took our time looking over the menu since we were open to trying new things. We started with shrimp in a blanket -four nice size shrimp in a wonton with plum sauce. They were served ahead of our meal and came our steaming hot and crispy. For entrees we orders the red curry with rice, vegetables and fried tofu at a 2, and the pad woon sen with pork at a 4. The heat level is 1-6 for reference. The food came quite quickly and looked so good. We both enjoyed our meals but would each increase the heat level by 1 next visit. The 2 was fairly mild and the 4 had some heat but seemed more mid level. Our server Dijana was very helpful and did a great job keeping water filled and answering our questions. We will be back.”

“Des Moines isn't a hotbed of liquor stores, mainly because you can get anything mainstream at the grocery store or a convenience store. So if you're looking for something different (maybe not super different) this is a solid option. Prices are good. Lot of hard liquors. Bottles of Dom. Decent selection of import beers. Parking is tight and can be dicey, tho at least they have reserved spots.”

I'm wondering, though, if they're open til 11 pm like Google says. I went in about a month ago and asked that question, and the person said they close the gates and send the cashiers home, but customers are still able to get stuff from the wine and spirits section if they ask.
I got off work late today and was told that once the gates were down, they don't even have the keys to open them back up (which makes me ask how they lock in the first place, but ok). So, in effect, wine and spirits closes at 10 pm.”
“I had a 7:30 a.m. appointment pulled up to the gate at 6:15 a.m. called the number and got put in the door immediately then because there was a few pallets kind of leaning over the forklift driver came out to get my help with that and we didn't have to restock the pallets he just kind of used the forklift and the wall the trailer to stand it up and I just kind of held it so he can get it out of the trailer that guy's name is Antonio what a great guy Searcy Atlantic bottling you got a great employee on your hand what a great experience. I think a lot of other people would have just had me restack the pallet but not him and if you come here for a delivery this is the guy you want.”

“Chester's is typically fairly busy. The reason for this is twofold. One, of course, is the fact that it sells liquor, and the owner is pretty good at getting new stuff in once a brand is brought to their attention that they don't have. The other is the chicken and pizza they make. I personally recommend the tenders, however, they make excellent fish and breasts as well. They also offer gizzards, which they give an ample amount of per order. If you are in the area, looking for some food, come by around 11 am, and you will have some amazing chicken, the first batch of the day, ready and waiting.”
“I highly recommend this place to anyone!! I moved to this area about a year ago and discovered this little gem near my house. Once they realized I was a regular customer they started ordering specifically for me. Great service and excellent selection of products!”

“I was really happy with this store because the day that I went in was the day of my birthday December 22 and I was able to buy the Vape Juice that I liked which was twist space one it’s called strawberry pop rocks, which is really good Vape Juice and I was able to find everything that I needed in. The guy was really nice behind the counter.”
