“This is a great location! The selection is endless and very well organized. Not to mention it is really well stocked. My husband drives from Ames to get a specific brand of whiskey when he’s craving it since nowhere in Ames carries it lol.
The store is kept clean and free of any trip or spill hazards. The outside is well kept also. There isn’t any garbage or cigarette butts spread around.
The staff is always really helpful and pleasant to talk with. They’ve even offered to order something that they don’t usually carry. Any time we call, they’re kind and helpful on the phone and have offered to hold the specific bottle we were asking about until we arrived from Ames.”

It was certainly worth the drive to shop at Ingersoll. I will note no one offered assistance, but I wanted straight to the area I needed and did not seek out assistance. I felt that the prices were certainly inline as well.”

“Super wonderful people here! We went in tonight late looking for fever reducer for our infant. They didn't have anything for under 2 years old, but the couple running the store gave us advice of what we could do naturally to help him. We didn't end up buying anything and they were just so sweet and helpful. Stellar service. Highly recommend this place!!”

“Very courteous professional staff , quick unload . I arrived at 830 called the number on the sign and was unloaded in 40 minutes ! No restroom on site but considering how fast and professional the staff was I'll let it slide I guess. However it is against the law not have (at least) a porta john on site for drivers. “We chose to check out in a lane that had a first day cashier. The girl bagging the groceries was very helpful to him and us. He accidentally double charged us and the girl took it upon herself to get the approval from management to get it deducted and get us going to keep the line moving!!! Very impressed!! Thank you to the two working isle 5 today!! You are what Hy-Vee is supposed to be!!!”
“Their cigar selection is not humidity controlled. The one I got was dry. I told them they needed to get a humidifier in the box to save their cigar from falling apart”

“New to the area and was looking for an Iowa local wine that I love. They carry the brand but not that one. The owner came over and offered to help me look for what I wanted and asked about the wine I love and if its good and I told him across Iowa where I moved from its a top seller and always out of stock. He told me he would get it ordered and start to stock it for me. I appreciate this so much! Great customer service even for not having it. :) We will return.”
“I just rode with a guy that picks up tires and disposes of them for Sahoma. I've never actually had any work done over there but I can say that they are really nice people and I would definitely give them a shot at looking at my vehicle sometime if I need them in the future. After I left the shop part of it I went up front to the store cuz I had the worst headache and the guy at the register gave me some Tylenol that helped make it tolerable till I could get some more in my system. Nice guy up front as well. I'd give 5 star and definitely will change my rating after I have some work done on my car.”

Nice selection too, i'm sure if you're out in West Des Moines It's a good place to go for liquors. It has the typical ambiance of a liquor store. My only concern was the parking lot was iced over and no one was taking responsibility to get the sand out. I joked that I'd spend a ten bucks to get a two seen from ace hardware for the owner.”
