“Very close to the zoo. Clean, comfortable, very affordable, quiet, pool was nice. Full size refrigerator,full size coffee pot, full size microwave and a sink in the kitchenette area. There is great bar and grill across the road. I didn't even have to get back in the truck to get a great meal. I highly recommend staying.”

“Stayed at this location for a basketball event in the complex across the parking lot! Great location for sporting events!The staff were all very friendly and always greeted us upon our many comings and goings!The room was incredibly clean with a beautiful workout facility and spacious lobby for groups to hang in between games.Nice outdoor area as well to gather.”

“Great staff, especially that young driver to the airport whose wife also works the front desk. He goes above and beyond and should get a raise. He spoke very highly of his bosses and company he works for and said they are like family and thats why he drives over an hour one way to work. Would stay there again and use his services. Hotel was very nice. Would love little cookie treats and even breakfast to go paper bag options in the early morning for people leaving before breakfast to the airport like the Hampton Inn next door had. All in all great experience!”
“Stopped in to check out the Council Bluffs casino. No jackpots for us this time, but the place was very nice and clean. We ate at the JB Café and the food did not disappoint! Shared a Reuben with onion rings (seriously so good—not thick battered) and ordered a pizza that was delicious. We even took leftovers home. Great food and a nice stop overall.”

“We stayed here to go to the zoo, the room was clean, no noises in the halls we had a really good night sleep, breakfast is the usual: sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, apple and orange juices and of course coffee. The two ladies we had to deal with at the front of the check in and out were really nice even gave me suggestions on were to take my boys after the zoo. We will be staying here again for sure, it was nice for the price.”
“Very nice hotel in a quiet location. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast had a large selection to choose from. For some reason there wasnt an elevator. The tv in the room was very dark making it hard to see what was on the screen. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and I was sad to leave.”
“Within Council Bluffs, Ameristar is the cleanest of all the casinos, by far. It also offers the best dining options. Perhaps my only knock is that it can be difficult to get a cocktail. Waitresses tend to congregate, you cannot order at your gaming device, and bar waiting lines can be very long. The casino offers a good variety of gaming devices and table games, and staff are generally friendly.”

“We had so much fun at this hotel stay!! Literally everyone that works here was so sweet and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay the very best!! They had an amazing nacho bar in the evening and they had plenty of chocolate to pass out for everyone. This was by far one of the most fun hotel stays we have ever had. I highly recommend staying here if you would like to have fun and amazing service. We will be back for sure. We honestly are thinking about switching hotels to come back to this one next time! Thank you for making our dance competition the best one ever!!”
“Honestly my stay was great. Only issue I have is I am owed 2 nights. I paid for a second week but I was in an accident a few nights before my check out date. My mother collected my things and made sure they knew. I would just appreciate if I was offered 2 free nights since I was charged for all”

“Huge pleasant rooms. This hotel feels new and everything was still nice.
The rooms are massive. We got the one bedroom suite and it had a large living area with. mini bar, 1.5 bathrooms (!!), with the master bath being giant with a huge shower. We had minimal interaction with the staff, but they seemed kind a helpful. Breakfast is about $15 and they have menu options, we didn’t try it.
The area is in Iowa across the river from Omaha. The hotel is connected to a casino and there is nothing else in the vicinity. It’s an easy 10-20 minute drive to most points in Omaha with lots of food options within a 15 min drive. Parking seemed to be an issue for larger vehicles. The spaces set aside for the hotel are compact. Larger vehicles had to be creative with parking, but there is a lot of free parking in the vicinity.”
“Is it the Hilton? No. But it's $60 a night. I understand what im getting into. Comfy room, wifi, decent parking, breakfast and a hot shower. Not to mention friendly staff.
Idk why people are so up in arms on these reviews.”

“Would stay there again! Hotel was nice and beds and pillows amazing. Was surprised and appreciated the breakfast to go paper bag options in the early morning for people leaving to go on the shuttle van before breakfast to the airport. That in itself garnered a lot of respect from me. Loved the cookie treat idea at front desk but didnt like the flavor. All in all great experience!”
