“While in town visiting family, we stopped into Fareway for milk and a few other things for the house. And as always, I grabbed some Iowa-made products to take home to Virginia, plus a Stella Moscato flavor (French Vanilla) I haven't seen in my local stores yet.It's been quite a few years since I was last in this store, but I swear it's even nicer than I remember. The butcher counter and produce department were both particularly impressive to me and my husband. I so wanted to stock up on the asparagus since it's currently on sale for half of the discounted price I normally pay, but it wouldn't have survived the long trip home.My other favorite thing was the whole checkout process. We started to get in line behind my in-laws, and a young man immediately opened another register to ring us out. Then, when I saw a young lady wheel their cart out, I remembered that Fareway has baggers who will take your groceries to your car if you want them to. We don't get this kind of service back home, so I have to admit that my husband and I felt spoiled and a little envious.”

“The prices are a little high on certain items but if you plan ahead you don’t end up spending any more money than anywhere else. We love going for meat deals. The store is always clean.”

“This is a "Super Walmart", while my local Osceola Walmart has greatly been improving over the years, this Creston location is worth the drive due to it being a much larger store. I like to go here for the lawn and garden center, and the sporting goods section, mostly. This location provides oil and tire changes as well.This Creston location, and the Osceola store has some the friendliest employees that you will find at a Walmart, currently.When you stop, be sure and tell them Tony sent you...it won't mean a thing and they have no idea who I am, I just want to picture the look on their faces when you say it, lol.It's a great store, be sure to stop by for whatever you need.”

“Great store! The manager there is amazing! Even though she needed a step ladder to get things off the first shelf I had a good experience. The managers name is Tory very friendly and helpful. Seems to really care not only about the store but her customers as well.”
