Wonderful hotel with old world woodwork, details and decor. Beautiful lobby, etc. We stayed in corner suite. The building has a neat history before being converted to its present use. Only complaint would be we were there for only one night.

Fireplace in our room sealed it: I just love staying here! Great art, great service, beautiful room and lobby. A worthwhile splurge for one night in Des Moines.
