“now, i wanna start this off by saying i absolutely LOVE sids. the prices are good, people are nice, very friendly place. i would've rated it five stars but i have an issue. this may sound stupid, but bare with me. today, at like, 10, i called sids wanting to get a pizza. a woman named nancy answered, and before i could even finish my sentence she HUNG UP THE PHONE. that is incredibly disrespectful, and i was flabbergasted. so was my friend who was with me. too be fair, we didn't know that their kitchen didnt open until 11, (it was around 10, keep in mind). however, i did want to give her the benefit of the doubt, i work in customer service and sometimes days just suck. a few minutes after 11, i had my friend call because i was not about to get hung up on again. my friend placed the order for, verbatim "a large, stuffed crust, PINNEAPPLE PIZZA." NANCY went "pineapple?" and my friend said "yes, pineapple." wonderful, yippee. guess what. we get to sids to pick up our pizza and end up paying 25 fucking dollars? we have purchased this exact pizza before for 17. we didn't check the pizza, which was stupid, but it was made completely wrong. she had charged us for hawaiian add bacon. girl. we had my friends mother call, nancy was incredibly disrespectful to her mother, to me before, and when we went to pick up our new pizza (free of charge) she was still being bitchy. i still will go to sids because it's a good place, this doesn't change how i feel about the store itself or other employees but nancy, that was wildly unprofessional. even if you are having a bad day.”

“Great Casey’s here in Forest City, IA. When I came, the store wasn’t very busy. Note that if you don’t need gas, park by the building’s curb if possible. However, use caution leaving as the exit onto Hwy 69 is a bit steep. The reviews were right about the pizza, the pizza was really good. Inside, the store was spotless, including the exterior of the store. The store was nice and organized for being an older Casey’s. There was 1 slice of cheese pizza left, so I took it. However, there was some sandwiches in the warmer to the left of the pizza warmer. This store looks like they just got a slushie machine not that long ago. The staff here were really really friendly. I grabbed that slice of pizza, a bag of Skippy PB Bites (haven’t seen those in a long time), and 2 Casey’s branded graham crackers (PB and S’mores + with rewards, it was BOGO (Buy One Get One, 1.99 each regularly). The total after rounding was 10.10 (they had a paper at one of the registers that they were rounding to nearest nickel due to the penny shortage). “Friendly they're organizing the store nicely got too much stuff in there though sometimes it's hard to get around. Mainly through the clothes I guess. They could be more aware of people trying to get down a lot of stuff is way too high.”

“Great Kwik Star here in Forest City, IA. When I came, there wasn’t too many cars in the lot. Walking into the store though, the store was quite busy. When I got to the fountain area, the area between the 2 fountain soda machines wasn’t very clean. I saw 2 straws, a lid, and a huge splatter in that area with the lid. Otherwise though, the store was mostly clean and organized. The staff were pretty nice and friendly. If you want to get milk (2%), it is 3.59 (4.15 back at the dollar store or 5.80 at Casey’s) ,which is a good price. The roller grill was nicely stocked with hot dogs and other roller items. I grabbed a cheddarwurst (I recommend this item as it’s really good), a Best Buddy (40fl oz Fountain Drink), a gallon of milk (2%), and a single donut (50¢ when writing, 99¢ normally).
