“Every time I go to this has station the staff is ALWAYS friendly. Somehow yesterday I prepaid for gas and it stopped (not full) but I didn't notice until later I did not have the amount of gas I paid for. Well luckily I went back today and Judy (the same cashier from yesterday) was there and remembered me and they had my cash saved for me. I just thought this was amazing of them and Judy was just so great!”

“My drives around the Des Moines area on this past Wed. took me to the Kwik Star located on State 415 on the west side of Polk City. All I ever expect out of convenience store is parking (check), cleanliness (check), and service (double check). I zipped in for my coffee, went to the counter and was greeted by a young man who asked how my day was going - putting some sincerity to the tone of his voice. This was a very pleasant experience, and I highly recommend this Kwik Star.Here's a pick of me enjoying my fine brewed Karuba (love it) coffee with a great song for the road.)”

Their grocery selection is good too, with meat, veggies, fruit, and dairy items at really low prices. There is a great drink selection, including a walk in beer cooler. And they make it really convenient by offering shopping carts.Their gas is usually the lowest in the area, and the car wash offers soft touch or touchless options.”

“Right off the main road. Came in to grab gas, the gas station has a lot of entrances and parking. Getting in and out was super quick. Grabbed a coffee inside, everything for coffee was available and ready to go. The clerk was super nice and we were quickly on our way.”

“My favorite gas station near me. Employees are always friendly. Always have what I need. Place is kept clean inside & out. Even the restrooms are in good shape. My only complaint is one manager is so overly happy & friendly it's fairly annoying. And she doesn't pay attention either, you'll have your rewards card in hand but she asks if you have one still. She'll give you a bag anyway when you say you don't need one. She will shout welcome after the other employee already has, 3 minutes later. Thats my only issue so I try to go when she's not there. But everyone else is wonderful & nice. And doesn't appear to be overly fake nice. Definitely my main gas station. And being too nice is definitely better than being rude :) so no real complaints here.”

“I stopped in the other day on my way to work to get a couple items, i was having trouble with my debit card and the cashier insisted on paying for my purchase with his own rewards points, i normally would say thanks i appreciate it,but would not haveTaken the offer, but the kid was super cool and i returned and paid him back in short order, that kind of thing goes a long way in making up for the less than favorable experiences i have had with the kitchen at the douglas store, much more so than the email i received that said nothing, so caseys execs take an example from Your better employees”

“I got gas and paid at the pump, so I can't attest to in store. Here's what I do know. I hate answering 50 questions when I pay at the pump. It's Iowa and it's cold out- Just give me my gas! I wish the pump could hear me, because he would just give me my gas. I'm usually rude to the pump, because I am freezing my a$$ off answering questions. Just give me gas after I pay. Please”
