He genuinely takes care of his customers… He was our salesman but when we had a problem, he was on vacation and could not assist and the guy who did assist us argued with the quote Kyle gave us. Kyle, while on vacation, heard of our troubles and immediately called me and sorted it out. He saved us from spending much more than we had budgeted for. “The 1st thing to remember is that everyone is struggling with staff and to be kind to the staff who are there in trying to help people. I found that staff were more than willing to help me and most of the time would actually walk me to an area that I had questions about rather then just give me a general directions and send me on my way. The store was clean and well organized and staff were wearing masks and they had screens up to protect their cashiers all things that show me that they're caring about their employees. Target has all kinds of products that are appropriate for young families. My particular area of interest is their paper products and groceries. It's where I go to get my bulk paper towels and my bulk Kleenex. This particular target has t grocery area and they have all the items that you could ever need. They have high quality in the fresh food, frozen food and dry goods. They have a great beverage selection including water. Health drinks and wine and alcohol. I find that I can usually get in-and-out in a very timely manner.”

“Who knew when K-Mart went out of business that Target, a neighborhood staple, would become a go to store for incidentals. Well, it has. It's like your good neighbor you could rely on for odds and ends. Why? While pulling out the Christmas decorations, I could not find the wreath door hanger or the Christmas tree skirt--so laying a finger -- to side of my nose -- off to Target I will go. It is somewhat early and the roomy parking lot is full--masking up here I go. The aisles are orderly and the holiday prices are amazing! There are all sorts of bargains. Yet, as I stick to my list and sort through the possibilities, I am satisfied with an in and a quick out. Friendly staff, $ good prices, clean, roomy aisle, and everyone adhering to the Governor's Proclamation "to wear your mask, six feet distance and stay of good cheer as we navigate the pandemic. Least I forget they also have Pick Up Lanes, which you may be familiar with -- when you order on line -- you can park and wait for a representative to bring your retail to the car or go to the service counter-- give them your name or ticket number --and they will locate your order and out the door you go. Pretty simple. Anything you want just go to target. com--support local!”

“Target Merle Hay is a-ok. Smaller version of the "super" Target that is only 5 min away. The layout of this location is different from the rest. It's also located and attached to the mall. Grocery can be found here. This location had some items in stock that others would be fully stocked. Nice collection of everything that a larger store would have: Opalhouse, Hearth and Hand, seasonal clothing brands, vegan items, electronics, bikes. I can tell they stock less of the items due to space. Service is ok. I tend to see same cashiers and customer service managers. I hardly come here but I have found that if other locations are out of something, I can find it here via Target app. Drive up pick up is offered here. Parking lot can be crazy. Layout is similar to others in DSM but just smaller.”
“This is easily my favorite store in Des Moines. I highly recommend to everyone I know. There are so many cute things in there for just about anyone! I've bought cute stickers and vintage decor there. I always love coming in to see their new items. Their lounge set up is super instagram worthy as well.”
