“This is hands down the BEST Goodwill I’ve ever visited. It is very well kept, and I’ve found soooo many hidden gems. Most of the clothes here are also name brands and in excellent condition. Sis, it’s better than Plato’s here. I found brands like Nike, Under Armour, Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Altar’d State just to name a few! I was very surprised. I stopped by just to take a quick peak and was there for an hour and a half… oops HAHA. Their fitting rooms are also open. :)”
“Mainframe Studios is great to meet a variety of inspired artists, who work in a building at their disposal. They have lots of opportunities to interact and inspire each other and meet the public.
Wonderful to visit and purchase their art!”

“We love the Varsity and the variety of shows. My family has been to many different things and always have an amazing time! Great popcorn, Great vibe, Great crowd. If something catches your eye and you’re considering going, just do it- you’ll have a great time.”
“Gotta say this was really fun .The staff were extremely friendly and helpful explaining how you go about and find clothing ,shoes ,towels and various other items.Lots of children's clothing as well as baby items.I couldn't help but notice all the bags of clothing being donated !! Ankeny is amazing pulling people togather to build a better community and it shows .Leading by example.”
“I've been in here quite a few times, picking up and dropping off items. The ladies working are always so kind and helpful. They provide such nice and needed items promptly and smoothly. This place is so amazing!!”
“Stopped by to make a donation and figured that we would do some shopping while we were here. Found some stuff that we wanted and the price was pretty good. Always like coming here to help support the community and get stuff that we need.”
“Can't say enough good things about it! There's plenty to do, including a "mini water park" so to speak for kids to change water flows with plastic rectangles. They seem to keep changing it up and keeping it fresh too. Party room available.”
“I visited Vallely Junction for the Henry Gregor Felsen car show that was hosted by the ISRA. I was very impressed with all of the shops that were open; it definitely kept that old time vibe alive.”
“This is a great store to find about anything you need! It has a great selection on flooring and the stock for bigger projects. I had terrific help from Shawn- his knowledge helped me decide on the best flooring for my project - he also helped me with a window and loading for a safe 1hr drive.”
“Beautiful hidden gem we found on the internet while shopping for Christmas. Outstanding customer service who went beyond the norm to ensure mom recieved her beautiful earrings. They are stunning in person and reading the back story on the corn used to print the jewlery made it such a unique gift this holiday. Thank you so much for going that extra step. Customer service is beyond 5 stars.”
“I’ve been going to this YMCA for about 4 years now and I would definitely say it is the best YMCA in the area. If you live downtown I definitely would recommend to come here if they have a activity you enjoy”
“Wonderful thrift store. Everything organized very nicely and very clean. Rarely will you find anything that is hung up with some sort of a flaw. Good pricing and the rewards program is the best around.”
“This is a very nice Christian bookstore. This store's strength is a very large selection of Bibles, Commentaries, and Theology material. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff are there to help you find things.”
“Wonderful program for those of us in need. So thankful. Sincerely, but the person in December-January has been very argumentative and just presents herself as a unfriendly person. Some people are meant to be volunteers and work with people and some aren’t. Kindness counts mama and you don’t know our stories so you shouldn’t treat us like pee-ons.!!”
“This is a great organization. They help woman “dress for success” and support them in other ways. I have been donating my nicer clothes to them for a few years and it’s good to know they are going to help another woman look great at her job and feel confident. If your looking to donate professional clothing to an organization this is the place to do that!!”
“I absolutely love going to the Salvation Army Des Moines Temple Corps. It is sad to say Lieutenants Joey and Pamela Gates are leaving this post, but their leadership in this church has definitely been amazing in the essence of helping me come back to God and turn away from my old ways.”

“Went in to get help with food, it was pretty fast compared to some places I've went, and they let you have options as to what you wanted. Came too late for the clothing closet, better luck next time.”
“Great facility! One of the few e-gyms in the area, which is an incredible feat of technology meets fitness. Also great free weights, yoga classes, a pool and tons of other classes and cardio equipment”
“This place is helping my son by changing the way he views himself as an autistic child. It is giving him a voice and hope.I am so thankful for the many services that they offer.”
