“This is hands down the BEST Goodwill I’ve ever visited. It is very well kept, and I’ve found soooo many hidden gems. Most of the clothes here are also name brands and in excellent condition. Sis, it’s better than Plato’s here. I found brands like Nike, Under Armour, Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Altar’d State just to name a few! I was very surprised. I stopped by just to take a quick peak and was there for an hour and a half… oops HAHA. Their fitting rooms are also open. :)”

“Went to First Friday and saw amazing art and met creative people. I drank Zombie Dust and would totally recommend. It's a monthly event where artists can display their productions.”

“When we don’t have plans on a weekend afternoon or weekday evening, we find a showtime at the Varsity. Love the friendly staff, remodeled auditorium, and the popcorn. My family are “Gold” members, so we get discounts and free popcorn!Due to a medical condition, I sometimes use mobility devices. It is easy to get around at the Varsity because of the new elevator and accessible seating in both theaters. My partner and I have a special place in our hearts for the micro cinema upstairs, The Loft. It’s intimate and cozy. Can’t recommend the Varsity enough!”

“Stopped by to make a donation and figured that we would do some shopping while we were here. Found some stuff that we wanted and the price was pretty good. Always like coming here to help support the community and get stuff that we need.”

“I love this store. So many cute cards and pins and art. My only problem is how expensive it is. I know it's all local, but everything is like 15% more than I'd like. I'd buy the whole damn store if it was just a little cheaper, or if they had deals on things, like a buy-two-get-one or something like that. Beautiful store, I'm just poor.”

“Always have a good experience with the folks at the Urbandale Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Been a customer many times in the past, volunteered a few times for local housing builds, Rock the Block, and their Winter Warriors projects. Was just making donating some surplus goods from handyman jobs this time. But Tim the assistant manager was really helpful with a few questions I had about some other jobs I’m doing. Give em a shot. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Went in to get help with food, it was pretty fast compared to some places I've went, and they let you have options as to what you wanted. Came too late for the clothing closet, better luck next time.”

“Beautiful hidden gem we found on the internet while shopping for Christmas. Outstanding customer service who went beyond the norm to ensure mom recieved her beautiful earrings. They are stunning in person and reading the back story on the corn used to print the jewlery made it such a unique gift this holiday. Thank you so much for going that extra step. Customer service is beyond 5 stars.”

“My husband and I spent two years waiting with another agency before we signed up with Graceful Adoptions. Our experiences with the two agencies could not have been more different. The first agency we worked with took our money, wrote up a home study and then told us to get in line and wait our turn. Throughout the entire process they were completely unsupportive, and we ended up finding out several years into the waiting process that they hadn’t even followed up on all our home study paperwork. After signing up with them, we also found out that they had four times more waiting families than placements each year and quite a few of their families had been waiting 4-5 years. When we reached out to Graceful Adoptions, it was such a relief to feel like we were finally seen and heard! Karen and her team worked closely with us to craft a profile that would allow us to put our best foot forward. (We didn’t have this happen personally, but I know that they also let prospective adoptive families know if they receive any constructive feedback on their profile from prospective birth moms so that they can further improve it.) It was SO helpful and made us feel confident going forward with them. They also provided a lot of help and support in preparing for being interviewed by our daughter’s birth mom and later, in beginning our open relationship with her and other members of our daughter’s birth family. And they have been there with support and advice every time we have needed it in the two years since our daughter was placed with us!We love the fact that our daughter’s amazing birth mom and other members of her birth family have also been seen, cared for, and supported by Graceful Adoptions! That is SO important to us!We are currently waiting for a second placement with Graceful Adoptions, and we are so grateful to have found them!”

“Wonderful program for those of us in need. So thankful. Sincerely, but the person in December-January has been very argumentative and just presents herself as a unfriendly person. Some people are meant to be volunteers and work with people and some aren’t. Kindness counts mama and you don’t know our stories so you shouldn’t treat us like pee-ons.!!”

“This is a great organization. They help woman “dress for success” and support them in other ways. I have been donating my nicer clothes to them for a few years and it’s good to know they are going to help another woman look great at her job and feel confident. If your looking to donate professional clothing to an organization this is the place to do that!!”

“Had my son’s 2nd birthday party here recently. Great, affordable, and very accommodating! Perfect place for a littles birthday party and entertaining enough for older kiddos to have fun with birthday boy! Space was good for small group and had everything we needed. Was able to have pizza delivered right to the museum and they had everything you could need if you forget something. Definitely recommend!”

“For about two years, I have been attending Barre classes with Noelle as the professional, highly trained instructor. It is because of Noelle that I have been able to continue and participate in class. She modified the ballet positions, so that I am not in pain. I stand differently then everyone else in class-but who cares!Ruth”
