“Well stocked, well organized and clean store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our capacitor in our furnace failed on a Saturday afternoon and it was only 20 degrees outside. I looked online and Ace hardware was the only store in town with the part in stock. I drove across town and this was my first time in the store. “Very pleased with the service and product line. Last visit, Aiden helped me in the store's closing minutes to match an obscure paint color for a restoration project where I only had a decades old recipe to help. Aiden over-delivered and got the color spot on using modern product and formulations. This all comes after another SW location told me it couldnn't be done. The Merle Hay location is where I will be taking my business and recommending others use.
The store also is carrying Level5 product now which makes me excited for the other projects coming up.”

“I went in seeking a paint match for a repair job on the exterior of my house. My 1st attempt at a match at a different location (big box store) was a complete fail.
My 2nd stop should, which should have been my first, Sherwin Williams in Grimes. The young lady who helped me was a delight to work with. When she showed me the matching paint after it was applied to my sample, I was unable to locate where the match paint was applied to my sample. SCORE! Thank you so much for the amazing service, and I will always choose Sherwin Williams for my 1st stop relating to every paint. She saved me SOOO much additional work today. The paint match was spot on.”
