“Love the locals! Hung out a couple hours early in the day and everyone talked our ear off! Came back hours later and it was a whole different crowd. Everyone wanted to talk, small town friendly (= strangers in town, someone new)! Good music, loud crowd, we fit right in! Even made the spitoon and scored a free drink! Worth the trip?”

She didnt hesitate her position, and was ready to field several of my questions, while multitasking with other employees and customers. Dollar General is a great must-stop when looking for inexpensive holiday finds or everyday home staples. Deserved accolades include, clean and clear aisles, as order is always kept and the store is perpetually inviting, and flows with a pleasant ambience to explore products.”

“This particular Dollar General always has someone at the register, always knows where to find things, always has boxes put away so you dont trip on them, and most of all always seems to have a very friendly staff. I would say this store is very well run. There is another Dollar General literally next door to the office where I work and I will always wait until I am close to home and patronize the Port Byron store.”

“Food is great! Convenient little store for items you may need like milk, eggs, beverages, beer etc. They sell homemade food items.No longer selling gas here but still has bait for the fisherman as well as lotto tickets. Come down and sit with the locals and chat!”
