“I have been a long time customer for about five years and most all my clothes come from Marne. I have slowly phased out fast fashion and throw away clothes and exchanged them for life long, ethical, beautiful garments. I love Angela (the shop owner). At this point she knows me. I have no idea how she keeps everyone straight but she always knows what will fit and what won’t. I am 12-14 regular and I fit in her clothes! I always feel celebrated and cared for. It’s one of those store I feel comfortable coming out of the fitting room and looking in the big mirror.”

“What a cool boutique and mall concept into one! Had a great time shopping here and I love the whole idea of Small Business owners connecting into one mall. Lovely layout of different small businesses. Lots of unique stores and items. I love certain shops and have bought several items several times now. So many Iowa/Iowa State shops, Christian brands, home goods, home made items, candles, clothing, 3D printed items. Always something unique to find. There was one time I purchased an item and didn't know it was broken till I got home. I went back to the store and the manager called the small businesses owner. The owner was very kind to allow a refund. Typically they don't but I was so thankful that this owner really cared about her product and customer. I would highly recommend Painted Tree for unique shopping. I'm looking to go back for a Christmas shopping spree. This place is packed out every week so be prepared for lots of people and a little bit of crowds. And rightfully so, it's such a cool shopping mall and experience!”

“This was one of the best bookstores I've been to for a school of its size. Had a great selection of clothes AND novelty items. Came home with a nice bobblehead of Griff! The quality of apparel that was offered was pretty top notch. With the exception of maybe larger sizes, there should be no problem finding anything you're looking for or maybe didn't know you were looking for there!”
