“The best customer service I've had in a long time! Judd and Dave were wonderful! I needed an adapter to go from a sump pump to a garden hose, but my sump pump was an unusual size. They took the time to go thru multiple scenarios to rig this up. In the end, Judd found pieces to work, and then took it further and actually took my pump and the rigged pieces to the back and put them together for me to make sure it all fit properly, Teflon tape included so it wouldn't leak. It was a wonderful experience and I just wanted to put this out there and let Judd and Dave know they are very appreciated! Thank you!”

“2-25-25 visit time 9:00 a.m. Abbie was a great help. Very friendly easy to talk to and seemed to enjoy her job. She knew where everything I needed was and took the extra few mins from what she was doing to help find what I needed. The lady at the self checkout on the other hand needs to take lessons on how to treat customers. She was rude and not very helpful. I needed approval for something I bought and I pointed it out to her and she said " It didn't say that" when clearly at the bottom of the item on the screen it was red with an exclamation point and said approval needed.”

The issue was handled fast and promptly, with a friendly smile. Even asked me afterwards if there was anything else I needed assistance with. Wow, what service in a home improvement store!!
I have been to menards, lowes, and other Home depot's in the west des moines and urbandale area (where I usually shop), and never, never have I received friendly service like I did yesterday. just wow! This was the first time I shopped at this location. So, it was a great first impression.

“Truck gate is on the west side of the building. Once you pull up there they will direct you on which way to go. I had a dock on the right as you come in. That dock is a sunken dock with walls on each side but there is plenty of room to line up and back in. It's a store so they have facilities you can use. Also, you take a break on the side and go in to explorer the vast swath of what they have to sell.”

I was trying to color match paint, which they're supposedly able to do. The person running the paint counter, however, was very insistent that any paint we got wouldn't match, so he was unable to help me.”
